I ordered a lamp for my television from Apex Lamps, used PayPal to pay for it, and when the lamp arrived it was broken. I contacted Apex Lamps immediately and told them it looked like the plastic part that attached to the television had been broken when they pried it off a television before slinging it into a box and sending it to me. The replied that I must have ordered the wrong part.

No; I ordered the right part, just from the wrong company. Now Apex Lamps refuses to refund my money. They want me to return the lamp so I have no proof of their fraud before they refund my money. I want them to refund my money + interest now and postage or I will sue them in small claims. I will also continue to report them to every consumer fraud group I can find.

Why should I return their broken piece of crap so they have that and my money? They are thieves and they think they can get away with it. Not with this single mom. I work hard for my money and I won't let them deprive my child with their fraud.

Buyer will get full refund if the product is returned before warranty expired.

AUTHOR: Apexlamps - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, August 09, 2012

Buyer will get full refund if the product is returned to us before warranty expired. The warranty will be expired on 11/8/2012 for this case.

We (Apexlamps) have a very generous 180 days Warranty/RMA policy which is one of the longest warranty days in this industry (Replacement projector and TV lamps). From the reason the buyer has claimed for sure this buyer can return the product to us to get a full refund ($90.70).

An RMA #R120516010 and UPS Return Service Label (Tracking# 1Z61F78E9064240802) have been issued on 5/16/2012 for this buyer to return the product to us for a full refund right after we know the buyer's claim. However the buyer insisted that we refund the money before she send the product back to us which we can not do.

The Buyer also filed dispute to PayPal and PayPal has closed the dispute case in favor of the seller because the buyer has not sent the product back to us (seller) yet. We have not received the product yet as of today (8/9/2012) and the buyer refuses to communicate with us.

I believe we have done everything legal and reasonable for this case.
