Appera Whitening Ripoff fraudulant charges after trial Tustin California

Followed web link to sign up for "free" (shipping only $6.95) trial of Appera's teeth whitening product. No email ever sent to confirm, but trial container showed up with no documentation or information included informing of any cancelation or return instructions. Leery of the product, I didn't even try it, but had to search all over the web to find the right website to cancel. After canceling, an unauthorized $89.95 charge appeared on credit card 14 days after initial charge (4 days after trial product arrived).

Shortly thereafter, a 2nd box showed up. Without hesitation, I contacted US Postal Service for return rights and instructions. They informed me to return UNOPENED box clearly marked "CANCEL - RETURN TO SENDER". I followed these instructions and followed up with another refund request on the Appera website form.

Still no response or refund. American Express contacted to initiate dispute with them. Will post results as they are achieved. Good luck to the rest of you, as I appear to be in good company!
