I purchasd a buckwheat pillow from As Seen on TV aka Tv-showroom.com back in June of 2009.
I ordered it and the company immediately charged my credit card for it and also charged the card for more than the advertised price.
I waited around for the pillow to come and sent them a couple emails asking when the pillow would come and they said it would be coming soon.

I finally sent a dispute form to my bank in September and notified the company that I had filed a dispute and that they would have to deal with the bank.  Not long after the dispute had been handled by the credit card company and my money was returned to the card, I got a notice to pick up a parcel at the post office and it was the pillow I had ordered.

Soon after, I got an email from the company telling me I had received my pillow and they wanted the money for it.  I told them I would pay them for the pillow at the advertised price and they said I had to pay more for it because it was from Cananda and I had to pay for the conversion rate difference.  I told them that their ad made no mention of this and I was willing to pay the advertised price as stated in the original ad and the confirmation that was sent to me after I ordered it.

I also let them know that I intend to pay for the pillow and I would not be in a hurry to pay for it because it took them 73 days to send it to me.  I have received a few nasty emails from them since and I contacted the bank and the bank has not received any word from them and they will have to contact the bank to continue their claim.

I am appalled that this company can get away with overcharging and holding my money with no intention of sending the merchandise until I got the bank involved.  As far as I am concerned, they need to pay me interest on my money since it was clear they had no intention of sending the pillow unless I got the bank involved.
