This scam has reached Peoria ILL. People approached in white panel van, saying they had extra speakers from a PO, wanted to sell them and had a magazine to prove how much they were worth. There were in an audio file box, shrinkwrapped like buying out of a store. Paid $200.00 for alleged $1,700 worth of speakers. At this point, we have no idea if they work. Same MO as everyone else. This happened in Peoria IL right by a Circuit City on Tuesday, April 27th. This really stinks and it sounds like justice needs to be served.
