November 4th , 2008 order a laptop stand from Auto Laptop Link Inc. This company goes by policelaptopstands.com and policelaptopmounts.com. Told would be shipped out in 48 hours and it was never delivered. When you call to find out about your order they just give you excuses etc. There web site says 24-7 customer support and they have many customer service representatives but when you call it is always someone named Mary and she will change her name to suit the situation. Mary gave me the round around by saying was unable to locate my order and UPS didn't send a tracking number etc.

Sent them numerous emails in regards to cancel the order and credit back the credit card account. Then received an email from a person called Mike. He said found the order but didn't have my phone number, wanted to know if I wanted the order reversed and credit back. Explained again to credit back the order which they never did or was product ever shipped. They stole 128.95 dollars from me and will keep on stealing. This company is a scam and will rip you off. From the reports on ripoff.com they have been doing it for along time.

The company shows the owner by the name of Raymond M Rante. The address used is 321 Raupp Boulevard Buffalo Grove, Illinois 60089. The other address used is 318 Raupp Boulevard. Contacted the zoning department for Buffalo Grove and they explained that 321 Raupp Boulevard is zone for residential and no such address as 318 Raupp Boulevard so who knows were they operate out of.

The Better Business Bureau has many negative reports on this company. They show the owner as Raymond M Rante P.O. Box 4844 Buffalo Grove, IL 60089-4844. Phone numbers: 866-522-1823, 847-459-9033, 847-493-9458.

The Illinois Attorney General office has been contacted. Anyone who has been a victim of this company needs to also contact Lisa Madigan Illinois Attorney General Consumer Fraud Bureau 500 South Second Street Springfield, IL 62706. The phone number is 217-782-1090. The website is www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov. You can file a complaint on line, print it off, mail it in, lets stop this guy from stealing from the consumer.
