I am a mother out of work and I recieved this award letter asking for acquisition fee. I can't afford to be giving away money for a scam. If i won some money why would I pay for processing.

I recieved a letter from this company last week here in Ohio. But my letter did not ask me to send money in advance... it did not ask for my bank account info.. It simply said I was the "Verified and Uncontested winner of $3,000,000.00" and asked me if I would like a lump sum or $100,000.00 a year for 30 years. What would be the point in sending me that when they are not asking me for anything? It doesn't make sence to me. Maybe the first or more letters to come?? I don't know.
