My wife was told that I already had a card and gave them MY Social Security #, Birthdate and A date that I had picked the card. All A LIE !!!
We were charged for the card and I argued them into getting a refund. We were told we would get one and that we just had to fill out a form. We filled it out and were then denied the refund.
Went through the Better Business Bureau and finally got them to agree to a Refund, and even got a Letter of Authorazation from the company.
The date we were supposed to recieve our credit, nothing... Waited a few days, Still Nothing... Now starts the law suit. Reported them to the FTC. I would advise that anyone who gets ripped off from them report them to the FTC as well.

My wife and I were recently contacted by the FTC concerning the BABC complaint we had filed with them. The FTC is LOOKING for those who have filed with them. IF YOU FILED AN FTC REPORT, YOU NEED to make sure that your information is current. We have since moved from the location we had listed over a year ago.
The Consumer Fraud Lawsuit is listed as: Federal Trade Commision v. Bay Area Business Council, Inc., et al., Case No. 02-C-5762 (U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois)
The FTC, an agency of the US Gov has a CONSUMER FRAUD LAWSUIT pending in Federal Court in Chicago against BABC, American Leisure Card, their owner Peter J. Porcelli,II, and other defendants...
In Brief, they are going after them hard and have asked for our information and records. I actually taped my conversation with those BABC a*****e reps. Ron, if you ever read this, I told you I would come back to get yall !!! Revenge is SWEET, Legal REVENGE is SWEETER...
