Hey guys, Im looking for others who have had bad experience with these banks and wondered if youd be willing to tell me about your personal experience. Have you ever tried to charge back when you failed to receive goods that a merchant wrongfully billed,

Any sneaky tatics taken in your issue? Please let me know if youd been victimize by Juniper and/or Barclays Bank Delaware.

They have spent over 40K to collect 8K and  even advised me to file bankrupcy... over 8K?   weird huh   Please share your experience and how you can be reached. Time to stop this terrible business from screwing people who dont deserve it. Thank you   Currently I already got them by the short hairs but do not want to weasle out as you know they usually do. Consequently, it would be extremely helpful to show court how many of us are out here so please help  So sad

Thank you  Jack

KEEP CONTESTING

AUTHOR: Jack - ()

POSTED: Monday, September 15, 2014

Clearly you are one of thousands of consumers who continue to seek relief only to be put off or not receiveing any assistance as most. However, not knowing all the facts about how or when this happened,  I do encourage you to keep contesting the charge or bill every chance you get. If it went on your credit report, I would contest the BS charge and make someone explain how it is this happened. Make sure you send a CERTIFIED letter requesting both Verification and Valadation. Verfication is  that this is in fact  YOU they are claiming owes them money  and also request Valdation of the alleged amount and how such debt became your responisibilty. I have found it extremely helpful to wright down a timeline and kept a jornal and of each time I called and couldnt get through or was blown off by the rep answering the phone .

Unfortunitly, we are many of thousands from my understanding. I was also told to review the orginal contract that they send with the card that must be signed and your on the hook. Many states are questioning the legalities of the fine print terms. Hope that helps. Its really all I know this far. Please keep me posted.

Lastly, if this helps, I found many Federal agengies governing these types of practice Ie Fair Debt Billing Act, or depending on if there are attempting to collect already Fair Debt Collections Act.  If reported to Equifax then the Fair Debt Reporting Act. All to protect us consumers.

Love to hear more if youd like to share. I sure hope the info helps a bit. Please keep us posted. Good luck but dont let them bully you into paying something that isnt yours.

Hang on for the ride.

Juniper/Barclays Bank problems

AUTHOR: Linda - ()

POSTED: Monday, September 15, 2014

I have been charged twice to my checking account the amount of $1500 plus an overdraft fee of $37.00 two times.

I have tried to contact them 12 times so far...all I get is a message to leave a message and I get no call back.

I have since closed the bank account this was happening on, but what is to stop them attacking my new one

as soon as they find it.  I have never had a credit card with them or any other bank for that matter.  All I have is

a debit card.  I don't know if this is generated by someone there as fraud or if someone outside of this institution

has done this.  My own bank, has basically left me to my own devices as far as resolving this.  They say it is my problem and

they are not responsible for any automatic transactions (which they say it is).

It is so frustrating and looking this company up on the web leads me to believe they have alot of this going on.

How can we stop them???

Thank you to the person who first took the time to post about them.

No idea what to do next.

As a matter of fact I am

Hey there. Yes I put it vague cuz I wanted it vague my friend. Yes I am an attorney but Im sure you know, if any dispute with these folks I wanted to hear about them   Clearly there are lots of people who have gotten hurt over this company. Additionally, I agree with you that I wouldnt be able to introduce an affd in court however they work pretty well in Arbitrations. Which is where Im going. 97% lose rate we have... sad isnt it. Yes this matter has been on going since 2005  and Id bet theres lots more attorneys fees than just that amount.

Not only am I an attorney, Im a mad attorney and I cant stand the way these people treat us the consumers. So buddy, Id love to explain more and I promise I will, just looking to show how crappy they are.   Hope that clears it up. Once I disputed the chargfe in July 2006 it has taken a life of its own. I payed all off but the disputed and wanted for this investigation. Merchant got 45 days I got 15  lots of promises and no one really comes through. I even saw the same names on here that I knew from account,  And btw  maybe you could be a little nicer before you judge. Yep paid the Merchant but did not receive one thing except for this headache

 Hope this helps there dude

So why did you stop paying them...

Oh brother.....three paragraphs and you didn't say a single thing of value.

I also really want to know how you know they spent over 40K to collect 8K?  Are they suing you and adding in 40K in legal fees?  If so there is definatly things you are leaving out of your report...like EVERYTHING.

FYI, as for the "chargeback".  Trying to figure out how you had an $8,000 charge on your account.  But here is some news for you.  Credit Cards will generally only cover Fraud, that is where you didn't make the charge.  If you actually did business with the company and have an issue with their level of service.  That is something like you paid for carpeting and the carpet started to pull up after a week.  Credit Card companies will not generally get involved.  For that you must be the one to sue the other company.  So if that is the basis for you deciding not to pay....well you probably screwed yourself.

Also, generally the ONLY thing the courts would be interested in to show a pattern is previous court cases that they lost.  So if you want something like that time to hit the Internet and start searching for court cases in your area.  Some unknown person on the Internet just complaining about a company isn't something a judge is going to allow you to bring up.

One final thing...I seriously doubt you have talked to a lawyer(or you wouldn't be here).  So I suggest that you do that ASAP, especially if you are being sued for close to $50,000(and yes even if it is only $8,000 as well).
