Barry Hartranft Jennifer Hartranft Sells Bucking Bronce to a 10yo. 4H green rider!!! Ephrata, Pennsylvania

My daughter was matched up with a horse,by Barry. He said it would be a good horse for a green rider. So we went to see the horse and she rode it for quite a while. I purchased the horse because he was quiet and very calm.

When we brought the horse home and let him adjust for a while (a week or so) I then rode him and he bucked very hard. I called Barry and he said that it was the saddle bags, I believed him.

The horse is very spooky a the littlest things. My children are not to go around him because of how jumpy he is. At any moment he jumps to the side if a leaf falls behind him. Can't trust him.

I called Barry back and his wife Jennifer's answers and I discussed the problems with her and she said
"We'll I dont know what you did to him." How cruel was this. This was to be my daughters horse. Dont they have any conscious about the fact that this horse could have killed her?

Barry said he would take the horse back at 15% commission if he were to resell it but his wife said 30% and they dont have the room to take him back.

In my opinion this horse was in fact drugged. Two reasons...Not one time did the horse spook or show any resistance or try to buck when my daughter rode him. Two, the day we piked up the horse Barry called me twice when I was on my way to see if we were on time and to hurry because he had a Dr. apt. Seems fishy?

So I sent the horse off to a trainer for 2 weeks to get an opinion on the horses behaviors. He bucked every day for the trainer. Although he got better with every day, she said the horse was not or will ever be for a little girl. Isn't this what I bought the Horse for? There scam artists
