So I had answered an employment add on Craigslist for a laminate, hardwood floor installer needless to say I sent my rsum and received an email not 10 min. Later asking if I knew how to install entry doors both single and French well on my rsum I stated I had the experience to do this kind of work just coming out of the army. And was trying to get into the trade well he offered 175 for the front door 225 for the French set well when I pull up to the job site they didn't have the new doors to install well I had to remove the front entry door and repair the sub floor surrounding it cause the was a good amount of water damage that was 1 1/2 months ago still haven't been payed. After I got done at the job site he called me and asked if I can go to another job and fix 2 doors that weren't installed properly by another one of his laborer that had abandon the job site sad to say it was cold out and the doors wouldn't shut at all. And it was freezing outside also leveled the trailer had to lift it 2 inches all in all the doors had to get removed and reinstalled . Another job I was sent two was a hardwood floor job I told him that I was able to do them but we had to rent some tool (air nailer) table saw exc. well went one full day to this job removed all the stables and prep the floor for underlayment and laid a few pieces down tryed nailing the floor with a mechanical nailer wouldn't do it informed Bishop of the issue sends me back the next day with another mechanical nailer same crap didn't work STILL NO pay or as he say I'm not getting paid cause I didn't finish the floor. A house his fixing for section 8 in Norfolk did a full weeks of work that consisted of drywall repairs to subfloor repairs painting, trimming minor electrical Still haven't been payed a service call for a costumer in Hampton had bishop install kitchen cabinets crap work done cabinets didn't even sit flush with one another fixed NO PAY, another job tree fell ripped of siding and facial board well A-1 roofing did the roof when I installed the faciaI i had ran it flush with the bottom of the thrusts typical when Just replacing the board I had no idea that the roof the fixed dropped toward the end in other words the roof was done poorly well according to a-1 roofing and protection. And mr bishop that was my fault if they would have told me they did repairs I would have strung it and installed it leveled and would have had no issues well repaired the wood and siding and cause of the facial board was hung wrong the refused to pay along with that job was a tree removed I had spoke and made a verbal agreement with Scott one of the owners at 125 a load 40 for fuel well I got o e load done and the rest of the tree was not sectioned out yet so I had to come back another day so I informed them that gas was gunna be a little more well come to pay time I went to collect the check from mr Harris the owner of a-1 roofing and protection I only got a check for 240 I had asked him where the rest of the money was he said that he wasn't the one to make the agreement so tuff luck NOW bishop was there with me when I made the agreement with Scott and come to find out bishop agreed with mr Harris on the amount I was paid in other word if you wanna drain your saving wasting fuel and time on these people it's on you these issue I'm sure date back a few years I couldn't believe that a former vet as he stated he was would screw over another veteran it's said . Ohh yea and if he loses money on any contract it effect the amount you'd agreed on
