 I made the mistake of buying two Honda Civics from these people. They just loive to play with the numbers when you try to purchase a car. I traded in a 2010 Honda Civic for a 2014 Civic. Honda Finance told me in a letter that I was due a refund for the pre paid extended warrenty, credit loan life insurance and the GAP insurance that I had for the 2010 Honda car. 

I contact Braman by Letter, email and leave voicemails and the do not return my calls  - NOTHING. I go to the deal with letter in hand and the manager says "unless we have PROOF of the money due they shall not issue a refund"

Everything is on computer and Honda Finance shows we have the insurance paid in full for a car we no longer own. I suppose Braman wants to keep my refund money. There is a Honda dealer in Delray Beach that is going to be getting my business from now on.

My opinion is avoid Braman Honda in West Palm Beach Braman Greenacres Braman Lake Worth or whatever name they are not my favorite dealer.

 This is the reply I got from Braman Honda

 

funny when I bought the last car they sent my refund check without this song and dance

 

" It is policy and the requirement of the insurance company to confiscate the customers original copies and obtain original signatures in order to avoid claims from being filed against cancelled policies.  Even in cases like yours where the car has been sold or traded.  We cannot simply remove an archived file and cancel policies whimsically.

Since your car was traded and a payoff was made we would also need a copy of the lein release, or the letter Honda Finance sent you in order to dispurse the funds to you.  Otherwise the funds will be dispursed to the leinholder listed on your policy.  I would also need a copy of your bill of sale from the purchase you recently made in order to have the odometer reading at the time of sale.  This is necessary for the insurance company to accurately calculate what percentage you are entitled.

I apologize in advance for this inconvinience.  I will be off Tues 11/19 and Wedns. 11/20.   Please call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx"

What a scam - You buy the car from them and sell the car from them and YOU (I) must supply them with the proof and records -
