Bruno Concrete TOOK PAYMENT AND DID NOT DO THE JOB Houston, Texas

After getting bids on several contractors, in June of 2012, we chose to have Bruno Concrete work on a building and outdoor patio for us.  He was Very professional and brought with him other contractor that would be doing the building, plumbing, and electrical work.  My husband and I were very impressed.  We signed a contract and gave the down payment to start.

The first thing that went wrong was the plumber could not get the city to approve plumbing.  After many time, and 4 weeks later, finally the plumbing was approved.  Then no work.  We called and Bruno would not answer the phone.  He finally called and said his phone was lost.  It all went straight down from there.  He had an excuse every day of the week for why he could not come out and work on our structure.  Finally in Late August he poured the concrete.  We had a sit down and discussed how the work would go from there.  He asked for the second installment and then asked for extra to order the material and have it delivered during the next week and no delays. We did this.  He also asked for cash to pay his help.  I did that too.  

We were so happy until he became Mr. no call, no show again.  In September he stated he had a family emergency out of town and had another contractor bounce some checks and he was in a bind and needed our help to finish the job.  We had already given him so much money and only concrete had been poured.  We told him that we would buy the material, have it delivered to the house and he would take care of the labor.  He agreed.  ANOTHER lie from this man.  I paid labor for work done, I paid for all and now he will not finish the project.  I blew a fuse last week.  This job was supposed to take no more than 8 weeks is now on its 4th month and Bruno Concrete is a total absent individual.  

Do not use this company.  This man will tell you what you want to hear and then not complete anything and take all your money.
