The company fails to inform the customer that orders may take more than 30 days to process. Upon requesting a refund, without the item having shipped, "bytheswordinc.com" charged me a $25 fee just for cancelling! This is hidden in the "agree to terms" before placing your order.
They were very unreasonable when I called to discuss. I agreed to purchase the item if they shipped it for free, which was denied. This $25 administrative fee is a ripoff! No services were rendered, nothing was shipped, no notice of the 30 day late shipping. Terrible customer service.

The only time an order is not able to be canceled is when it is a customer item and construction has begun. Our craftsmen put a lot of work into custom armor, bows, and weapons. If there is insistance on cancellation, we do need to charge a cancellation fee once construction has begun to offset labor and material cost. Our items which require construction time are labeled as such in the product description before purchase. We are available for questions, comments, and concerns through email, phone, and live chat. Employees who under perform or are rude to customers are weeded out and we are sorry you had a bad experience. We have an A rating with the BBB, and we are proud of our customer service.

I wish I had read their reviews, they got me too! I've been waiting three MONTHS for an order they promised would be delivered around the middle of November. I had tried to cancel, but they ignored me. No order, no refund, NOTHING! Suddenly they're claiming that they have finally shipped PART of the order. Never order from these people! Check with the Better Business Bureau, they don't seem to respond to them either. Also, if you have to contact them, make sure that you don't use the "contact" button on their web site. They claimed that I never tried to cancel my order, because they couldn't seem to find the post I sent them that way. Since their "contact" button doesn't save a copy of your post to your computer, they will automatically accuse you of lying! Stay away from them!
