I too have recieved one of these letters of approval for a guaranteed $5000 credit card.

I received it without applying.
In reading the small print I could find none of the info that a normal credit card app asks for.

But they claimed that if I sent them $39.00 they would send me a credit card with no interest for a year. I decided to look it up on the internet and all I found were fraud reports. Apparently they send these out and never send a credit card.
