Caruso Homes Inc Never buy from Caruso Homes!!! Crofton, Maryland

We purchased a new house from Caruso Homes In summer of 2010, and in the short 7 months we have lived here, there have been 4 different leaks that have come up in the basement foundation walls. Two of them are major cracks in the walls. They filled one of them with proxy material, but even that filled crack leaks, and the wall around the proxy is wet when it rains. Yesterday, Mar 10, 2011, a brand new crack was discovered, that leaded enough water to fill 1/4 of a bucket. Also, another leak was discovered that was leaking water from the basement ceiling. This leak is coming from the font of the house, and into plywood, this is the basement ceiling, and main level floor. When asked what they will do to resolve these issues, they said they will come fill the crack with proxy again, and the other leak is in the mulch area and is my responsibility. Thee house is supposed to be under warranty for at least a year, the foundation walls are covered for 2 years. I have told them from the very starts when the house was being constructed that the quality of job done in water proofing the outside of the basement walls did not look sufficient to me. But they ignored my concerns and keep ignoring them. The proxy seals are only band aids to the problem. The real solution would be to fix the improperly done water proofing on the outside of the foundation walls all around the hose. Also, the grading needs to be corrected as well. There should be enough soil around the house to draw the water flow away from the house. Our house few feet lower in ground compared to both of our neighbors around us, naturally flowing all the water right to our house on both sides. This is bad engineering to begin with, which they do not even want to compensate bu properly water proofing the walls. Every time it rains, it is a huge stress for me and my family. This is a brand new house, these things should not be happening to begin with if the proper care and quality was put into the construction of the house. Cracks keeps developing, who knows how many more will develop. I do not trust the quality of their work at all after all this.  
Avoid Caruso Homes at all cost.  I would hate for anyone else to go through the stress, frustration and head aches I am going through.
