Causewaybay Hotel Causewaybay Hotel Calgary Awful stay long winded stories but no refund on Visa Calgary Alberta Canada

We first stayed with the Calgary Causewaybay Hotel During the Calgary Stampede,it was the only hotel left in the city with a reasonable room rate so we reluctantly stayed there. the tagging and derilict vehicles in the under building parking made us wonder,but they were trying changing names from the thrift lodge so we tried it. it wasnt that bad. BUT when we stayed there again on October 17th it was a terrible stay. The staff were partying with a group that was staying in the hotel. calling down to the front desk at 2 am di nothing to quiet the X rated conversation in the hallways or the slamming of doors and loud Televisions. This went on until well after 3 am. when we finally did get to sleep we were awoke by numerous military people leaving the rooms on our floor once again slamming doors. when we did our checkout the office had one of the staff that was partying just hanging by the managers door, so we thought that it would be hopeless to talk to any of that crew. When we got home we sent an Email to the Head Office of Causewaybay Hotels' they did not answer at all even though we sent them emails from two sparate Email addresses,one being from our ISP just in the event their email server disallows Hotmail type mails. We then tried the BBB. That was a failure,we got responses from the hotel that seemed to be from a grade 9 student. Bosting " Firstly" and rambling on without ever adding a "secondly". I repeated in several answers to them that I wanted a refund. The Calgary Causewaybay "so called" manager went on and on in emails. All I wanted was a Refund, I paid by Visa and it would have only taken a minute to refund my Visa. But instead they want to mail my refund. I am sure the old saying "Cheques in the mail" would apply to this shotty Hotel. Causewaybay NO WAY!!!
