Directly below is the letter I sent to the bank.
On about 09-14-2004 I was browsing the Internet and stumbled across a web site I thought I might like to see. When I tried to enter it took me to the page I have marked with a circled 1 . As you can see It asked me to sign up for FREE a Sex Key ID. I clicked and that took me to page 2. Again it says free a couple times. After I clicked (join now) it took me to page 3. After seeing it wanted my card info I did a little research and decided to foolishly take the risk seeing it said( your card will NOT be charged for this transaction ). After all this I never received any emails or anything else to make me believe I was in danger of being charged. Also in CCBILL's own statement it says 3 days and only 2 had passed. This is a tipical Internet scam. Please do not let them get away with this. I have no interest in Porn King or anything like it.

After seeing I had been billed on my online bank statment I called the bank and they gave me a phone #. When I called it the guy on the other end laughed at me. He was obviously used to these calls.

I then contacted the bank again and they filed a dispute with shazam and my money was returned. But after a couple weeks it again came out of my account.

After contacting the bank they called shazam and were informed Ccbill had disputed the reversal. and I had 10 days to send a written dispute.

I then wrote the above paragraph and waited.

After a couple weeks the bank called and said Shazam had sided with Ccbill because I had willingly given them my card # and if I wanted to fight it further there would be a $125.00 fee the I could not recover. So I have to decide if I want to spend $125 to recover $39.95.

I have forwarded the editors note from another complaint to my bank but have not heard back yet.

Sexkey Confusion

AUTHOR: pyst - (New Zealand)

POSTED: Thursday, October 22, 2009

I wish to outline my recent experience of signing up for "FREE" SexKey membership. Firstly I came across a site which interested me so I click the 'Join' button which took me to the signup page offering a free trial to MegaPornoPass.com and also another free trial to "Best Porn Library" - credit card details are asked for which I gave. My credit card was rejected and a message stated my credit card would not be charged. On another attempt to join Sexkey I was taken to a different signup page which required credit card details - this time my card was accepted.

I then discovered that the first attempt to signup (credit card SUPPOSEDLY rejected) actually signed me up to "Best Porn Library" with recurring charges if I didn't cancel within 3 days. Very deceptive!

So I cancelled my 'unexpected' trial to "Best Porn Library" as well as my 'expected' trial to "PornKing" and am crossing my fingers hoping my credit card isn't going to be taken for  all it's worth by Sexkey and it's associates.

My experience was good

AUTHOR: Funtime123 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, January 28, 2008

I can't speak for the above, only for my experience which was very good. I met a woman from A free online community site and she asked that I use sexkey. I did this and replied to her and have met with her several times after that. I cancelled my 3 day pass shortly after signing up and had no problems and nothing showed up on my CC at all. Some people may use this service in a bad way as listed above, but not everyone does as I had no problems and was quite happy with how things turned out for me.

Hmmm.

* If this is a TYPICAL Internet scame why did you fall for it?
* If you have no interest in Porn King or anything like it why did you give these people your CC info?

Just curious.

From an escort : SexKey know about this scam.

AUTHOR: Gabriella - (Canada)

POSTED: Saturday, December 08, 2007

I must apologize for my limited English vocabulary.

Last September, I started receiving tons of messages from gentlemen, referring ads on Craigslist. They mentioned chatting with me on MSN (which I never do!) and agreeeing on providing their credit card number for a AGE VERIFICATION PROCESS (which I don't require). Some were told minor charges would be applied, but most were told NO charges would be made to their credit card.

I told every one of these men I didn't know what they were talking about, as I never posted any ads on Craigslit. The ads were simply fake, asking for a quarter of my rates, offering services I didn't provide. But it was my own pictures (copied/stolen from my website) and my name! After flagging/deleting their postings, these crooks even sent me an email, signed with my OWN NAME, saying I was just jealous and they would legally go after me if I kept implying the ads weren't real (!!)

But when I started receiving dozens of phone calls daily, from people all across Canada, some located in cities I've never heard of before, telling me about my "new" website (part of http://www.legalescortsnow.com) (Note : this profile / site is now deleted. It wasn't mine at all, they've simply made up a fake site using my pictures and name again)
I had to act to put an end to this craziness.

I've contacted Sexkey through email, and EXPLAINED precisely the situation. They told me they will take care of that matter.

I thought they did, as the crooks started asking interested clients to subscribe to a European website instead. I've also contacted this company. They quickly replied, were very kind and professional, and assure me they will deal with this matter very seriously (i.e. asking for their commissions back)

I posted a warning on the front page of my website, asking for gentlemen to CONTEST the charges made to their credit cards. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the transaction, I suspect the majority didn't.

I was contacted by many escorts, going through the same problem, in the following weeks.

I am chocked to learn that SexKey didn't stop their association with these people. They know about the situation and should have all the information needed to take legal actions against the people responsible for this scam.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

It is a scam devised to defraud people from their money.

AUTHOR: Sentry - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 25, 2007

This business model is based on deception with the intent to defraud.

My statements are not opinions or subjective: They are facts.

I wanted to work for this company, but soon after I began, I learned of the methods they use to generate revenue, I just couldn't bring myself to be a part of it. It's not an honest organization!

" They even use the same protection Amazon dot com uses. Totally safe and secure information.." You make it seem so simple and legal here. That's the same line affiliates are taught to state when trying to make the sale.

The truth is:

Affiliates are taught to post ads in all major cities on craigslist and pose as escorts who solicit sex for money. Then we are to wait on AIM and YIM for a someone to message us in response to our fake escort ad. After a brief conversation, we are to insist a screening process where a credit card is required. The victim is told this sexkey is free and it is our assurance that they are of age and not Law Enforcement.

Once the credit card number is submitted and confirmed, the conversation ends. We are taught to hit the ignore button of our instant messenger. None of us posing as an escort ever had any intentions of meeting the victim. If no action is taken within 3 days, the victim will discover a $37.00 charge on his credit card.

Why don't the people who are posting these fake ads just state that they are selling access to escort information? (Information that is actually free on Eros.com, Escortphotos.net, Escortbio.com and Erotic North America)

I'll tell you why... It is a scam devised to defraud people of their money.

I'm sure this gentleman was trying to contact an escort, get her info, then split and totally forgot after being satisfied, that he signed up and didn't cancel. What an idiot! i don't even get why you would sign up for something just for a quick lay, then wonder why you're being charged for idiocracy!

The above statement is a prime example of how LegalEscortsCash.Com and Legalescortsnow.com are counting on the further expense, exposure, and the embarrassment of these victims, to avert objections or disputes. The sad part, it obviously works.

You may argue that being an escort is no crime; however, the training manual and the internet forum both promote various tactics of deception and fraud. These include terms and wording to promote and solicit prostitution.

On the forum, these people discuss their sales in jest as though the victim got what he deserved for wanting a prostitute.

I couldn't bring myself to remain with this organization, and I have sperated all ties.

Sexkey is NOT a rip off

AUTHOR: Wellinformed - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 23, 2007

I have signed up for SexKey and know for a FACT it is not a rip off. You are given 3 days trial to cancel if you do wish to do so. Obviously this gentlemen *cough* did not do so, then was upset when he was charged.

Being with Sexkey for over 3 years, I would know. I have canceled my membership ONCE, due to a move and it was an easy 30 second process that was 100% safe. They even use the same protection Amazon dot com uses. Totally safe and secure information.

I'm sure this gentleman was trying to contact an escort, get her info, then split and totally forgot after being satisfied, that he signed up and didn't cancel. What an idiot! i don't even get why you would sign up for something just for a quick lay, then wonder why you're being charged for idiocracy!

This is a great service and offers contact information to thousands of escorts who want the safety of not being stuck with a person under 18 or a member of LE.
