Nobody said anything about financing.

And, it is highly unlikely that a 2002 year model vehicle would be financed, as it is VERY difficult, if not impossible to finance any car over 5 years old.

This vehicle is 9 years old. Financing unlikely.

With that said, why don't you just focus on your juvenile nonsense poems and telling people to Google something.

What I do understand is that I am not stupid enough to buy a car online that I have not test driven or had fully inspected prior to payment.

Leave the common sense issues to me, as you have none.

Actually there are very few, if any "laws in place" to protect the used car buyer.

MOST states have "as-is" rules for used cars.

For example, here in Florida. ALL used car sales are "as-is" whether it be a private party sale, or dealer sale, unless there is a written warranty as part of the sale contract.

The fact of the matter is that too many people are just too stupid to live and bring on their own problems due to a lack of basic common sense being applied to a situation.

Anyone who would buy a used car online without having it thoroughly inspected by an expert is a total moron.

Just common sense here.

I have seen Jim respond to many of these amazing transactions and I agree with him 100%.

It is just amazing to me that anyone would buy a used car on line sight unseen.  It's actually unbelievable to me.  There may be some recourse, I don't know, but why in the world would you subject yourself to all the aggravation.  A used car is always a pig in a poke even WITH a mechanics inspection but if you don't do anything to improve your odds at all you almost deserve what you get. I hate to see anyone get ripped off no matter what the circumstances are but some things are so avoidable that it's really hard to feel any pity.

I just don't get it. 

for the bank to approve the car loan. You can contact the bank and demand copies of all documents that the dealer sent them. If the car dealer falsified the information on the used car sheet, then fraud may have taken place and you can sue the dealership.

Seriously Jim, you need a day job if all you have is the time to go around and blame innocent buyers for all you believe they lack when purchasing a used car. First of all, there are laws in place to protect such innocent buyers from scam artists such as Ron Geronimo. These laws wouldn't be in place if there hadn't been a reason.... I doubt your name is even Jim, maybe this is Mr. Geronimo himself, with nothing better to do after a long day of scamming people for money, sit down at the computer, sell some more piece of crap cars and tell some lies.....

Anybody with half a brain has heard of all the problems associated with buying a used car...any used car. Many people won't even consider buying a used car because they've been badly burned in the process...even when buying local. Now you people come along, you send your money off to somebody you don't know and incredibly buy some used car you've never seen. You end up getting screwed and you cry and whine at how much of a crook the seller is! Incredible!!!

COMMON SENSE dictates you look at the car as it is parked in front of you so you can determine the outside physical condition.

COMMON SENSE dictates you then go inside that car which is parked in front of you to observe for interior defects.

COMMON SENSE dictates you try each and every accessory and feature to make positive they work on that car parked in front of you.

COMMON SENSE dictates you take the car for a test drive and make a rough determination as to how that car runs. You do this by actually driving that car which was parked in front of you.

COMMON SENSE dictates you have a mechanic of your choice render an opinion of the exact condition of the car which is parked in front of you.

COMMON SENSE dictates you and the mechanic review his/her findings and assess the actual value of the car and make an offer.

This buying of used cars, sight unseen on the internet simply drips with stupidity and an incredible lack of COMMON SENSE.

If you would have done all the things I outlined above, you wouldn't have this problem now, would you???

Ron Geronimo is the biggest car dealing scam artist I've ever known. I'm so happy to find an ally in this horrid fight against their company. I was starting to feel like I was the only victim but I see that's not true. I'm currently taking them to court due to the numerous problems they sold my car to me with..... I paid 6100.00 for a car that was advertised to have the timing belt and all belts replaced in it. That ad has conveniently since disappeared from their website but fortunately I had printed it out..... My car has since needed the following repairs: new transmission, new thermostat, 2 new axles, all new brakes and rotors, and two new tie-rods..... and now my check engine light is on due to a busted sensor that was not previously lit because of the bad transmission. Oh and PS. I do need a new serpentine belt and my car, yeah doesn't even have a timing belt, it has a timing chain! Great right? Just wanted you to know you're not the only one! They jerked me around from the get go as well. Car was 'showroom' condition, however not the case with scratches and dings. It took me forever to find Ron as well, they're great at answering the phone, right? Oh, did they bring you to their shady basement office after too cause that was a joy also! They are the WORST company I've ever dealt with. I'm sorry for the situation you got stuck in but happy to see I wasn't the only one!!
