I went to Best Buy just looking and found a product they had that I liked but was out of stock. I went to circuit city and they had the exact same mouse that I had looked at, but was $65 more than the one at Best Buy. Asked if would match price on same product. Told me they would if it was the same one. They looked it up and the price was $40 to their $105. They told me then that they could not match it because they were out of stock.
I looked online and found that another Best Buy had it in stock. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Almost any company that I have seen price-matching has the same policy.
1. "Sales are final" prices do not count!
2. Competitor MUST be located within same Commercial District (usually named "Local Competitor"). Same City, but shopping centers 10 miles away? Doesn't count.
3. Does not apply to special offers or promotions, including rebates, free-with-purchase offers and special financing.
4. Prices cannot be matched online, or to competitor's online price.
5. Item must be in stock at "Local Competitor" (Always have seen them call)
These were the Price Guarantees of Circuit City. If the Best Buy they checked with had it in stock, they would've given it to you, plus 10% more off. Believe me, I worked there. Just because another Best Buy showed it in stock online doesn't mean that had to give it to you.
People, read the details before you complain. Get all of your facts together before being proven wrong. People like this is why Circuit City, and many other companies, had such a bad rap for years. Mis-management is Circuit City's downfall.

YOU HEARD IT HERE, FIRST,.
AS OF FRIDAY, JANUARY 17, 2009 CIRCUIT CITY HAS FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY --CHAPTER SEVEN AND ALL OF THEIR MERCHANDISE IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIQUIDATED BY MARCH 31,2009.
SO YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM AND THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT THEM ANY MORE BECAUSE THESE ARE PROBABLY AMONG THE MANY, MANY THINGS THAT CAUSED THEM TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER NO SERVICE, GREED, BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND ALL THE MANY OTHER MISTAKES THEIR ARROGANT YUPPIE EXECUTIVES MADE.
I AM EXPECTING TO SEE QUITE A FEW OTHER BUSINESSES WHO ENGAGED IN THESE PRACTICES GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND THE ONLY SAD THING ABOUT IT WILL BE ALL OF THE EMPLOYEES WHO WILL LOSE THEIR JOBS.
AND THERE ARE NOT THAT MANY JOBS BEING CREATED!
