Cleaning Stuff supports age discrimination and hostile work environment for the older employees. Male employees of less than a year of employment are paid 25% more than female employees with 8 years of employment. They unjustly terminate employees who speak out against these unfair practices. Additionally, instead of righting the wrong done to these employees, they continue their hostility by fighting unemployments benefits being paid to them. In the unemployment appeal hearing they fabricated evidence that was not a legal justification for the discharge and an already broke unemployment program took the employer's side and disqualified me for benenfits. I worked for these money hungry people for 8 years, 6 of those years with NO BENEFITS! Being the first employee at the start-up of the company I worked hard in ensuring growth of the company. I took pride in that growth. Being one of the first communicators to the customer, it was my service that was a big factor of the company expanding and growing. The customers quite often took time to email their appreciation and assurances they would do more business with Cleaning Stuff. I worked well with the vendors and was well liked by them also. As new employees were hired, it became apparent the Cleaning Stuff owners desired younger ones. So out with the old ones. For 2 years I was a victim of discrimination and disparate treatment. The final straw was when the owner reprimanded me for a task not being done that was the responsibility of one of the younger employees. I was fired for standing up for myself against the discrimination. I intend to keep fighting for my rights and telling my story of their unfairness until I have received redemption for this injustice.   This company is despicable in civil and employee rights! Help put these Civil Rights violators out of business and patronize reputable suppliers!

Compromises Vendor Product Secrets

AUTHOR: Unjustly Fired - (United States of America)

Cleaning Stuff also knowingly will ship a vendor's product to a competitor for the competitor's research. I questioned this ethic (after being ordered to do it) on an order for floor buffing pads, I was given the answer "do it, it happens everyday". It is unethical for a manufacturer's distributor to have such disloyalty to the manufacturers they represent! The only concern for this company is not losing the sale. Unbelievable!
