Colleen Rutledge uses abusive training methods like the rollkur technique and maintains one of the filthiest farms I have ever seen. The day we were out there, they had a new stallion tied out to a fence that was clearly scared with the new surroundings. Every time the stallion struggled, a female employee would yell and then strike him with a stick across his face. I have never witnessed such horrible treatment of horses in my life. The farm had manure stacked up in big piles out front, and there were dog feces scattered in the parking area. I would never let my daughter train with such rude, neglectful people.
