Comp USA ripoff Selling outdated software as new then not allowing returns without the original box Fresno California

Comp USA is selling Software that in some cases is several years old to unsuspecting consumers. After purchasing the programs and realizing that the particular softwware would not accomplish the goals of the buyer, Comp refuses to issue credit without the return in the origianl carton, period. Like everyone keeps all the boxes of the products they have ever bought.

If their sales people had enough knowledge about the items they sold they would not have this problem. In the instance I was involved in, some of the boxes the products were shown in had been handled and on the shelf so long that they were damaged and taped shut.

In today's computer market, technology is changing at an extreme rate, the suppliers of software should keep track of the age of the drivers of these systems,telling the custometo look in the manufacturers website to update a program that you just spent 90.00 on is not what I consider good service.

If you shop at Comp USA I suggest the following, ask several different sales people about the program that you are about to purchase, ask to see that the drivers are up to date and not 2/3 years old. Above make sure that you keep all the cartons and paperwork, they won't even talk to you without it. Check the manufacturer's website after you purchase to insure that the system you receive is current.
