Convenient Paving ---James, Don Watch your wallet around these guy's!! Stacy Minnesota

On 6/16/14 two men drove into my driveway and stated that they had A quantity of milled asphalt that they wanted to sell. They told me that they would sell it to me for $12.00 per yard which I thought was A good price as I had just got A quote for recycled concrete at 400 dollar's for 15 yards delivered but not placed. I would have to do the labor myself.

  The men, James and Don stated that there crew would place the material for no extra cost so I told them to proceed as I have had problem's with my driveway washing out with the heavy spring rain's of late.

  Around an hour later several men showed up with some machine's and dump truck's and went to work digging out the old fill and using A machine to put in the new fill. The crew worked hard in the heat of the day and in the late afternoon they had to work through A thunder storm.

I counted 5 truck's of material used and at 12.00 dollars per 15 yard truck load the price should have been 900 dollar's. The young guy, Don't told me his father in law James, would figure my bill. I nearly had A stroke when he told me that I owed them $6000.00 for the work! After some discussion I agreed to pay $4000.00 for the work but the original agreement was that the material would be installed for free.

If I had contracted to have the material delivered and the labor done $4000.00 would have been in the ball park but I only agreed to the delivery of the material. I own several pieces of heavy equipment including A Farmall 400 tractor with A loader and A Case 1845C Uniloader and I could have placed the material myself instead of being A victim of A bait and switch scheme.

  These people , in my opinion, put the "CON" in Convenient for sure. If they approch you with A story like I got tell them you rent, your just breaking and entering, anything but that you own the place!!
