Cool Air USA Cool Air USA is dishonest InternDavieet, Florida

I contacted Cool Air USA to come and perform a tune up on my air conditioner. When two technicians arrived, they told me that I was low on freon and that my programmable thermostat was shot. They replaced the thermostat at a cost of $189 and put freon in my compressor at a cost of $395. The air conditioner kept running, even after it had reached the setting shown on the thermostat. I called and inquired about this and was told that perhaps the batteries in the thermostat were bad. When I went to replace them I found that the techs failed to install batteries.

I placed a second call to Cool Air USA the following day and had a follow up appointment the day after that. Another technician came and told me that my float valve was bad and that I needed to replace it which I did for $225. He also told me that my freon was low. When I heard this I went ballistic and told him that I paid $395 only two days earlier for 6 pounds of freon. He also told me that my batteries and capacitor on the compressor were bad and that it would cost me another $600 to replace those. I think I finally caught on to the scam when he told me that my freon was low. I feel that Cool Air USA took me for a very costly ride and I am planning on seeking legal counsel to get vindication and reimbursement for the fraudulent work that I paid for.
