I called up Cricket to inform them that I had changed my cell phone service to another company. My cell phone number was "ported out" (taken away from Cricket) by my new cell phone company.

I had paid for about half-a-month of service (plus roaming minutes) in advance.

I wanted to call Cricket to ask how they were going to refund my money for the unused half month, but discovered that it is completely impossible to contact them now. Whenever I have talked to them, as soon as they figure out that my telephon number has been ported out, they immediately either put me on hold or "transfer" me, and simply will not answer.

Obviously, this company has a policy not to talk to people who they owe money to.

Nor can I reach them over the internet. Once again, they require me to enter a telephone number, and since it is no longer a "Cricket" telephone number, the website simply sends a message that the telephone number I entered is not Cricket wireless.

This is all fine, except for the fact that Cricket owes me about $30 or $40 bucks. They won't even talk to me now. What a rip-off.
