CSC CREDIT SERVICES Equifax CSC is a non-responsive front company that Equifax hides behind Dallas, Texas

I have been making the rounds to the 3 Credit reporting agencies to clear-up incorrect information from my credit reports. Experian and TransUnion have been relatively easy to contact and have responded positively by removing the incorrect information.

When I contacted Equifax it was a totally different experience. Online, they take you through a maze and then they tell you to contact CSC Credit Services in Dallas, TX. I went through the CSC online web forms twice but it was impossible to describe anything in the 100 characters they allow you to explain your problem. I then tried calling them and the only phone number they give you answers with a message of "Thank you for calling CSC Services, please go to our web site etc., etc. etc. Then it says "Your call cannot be completed at this time. Please try your call again later." I called this number repeatedly for weeks, and always got the same message.

I finally mailed them a registered letter with the notarized documents in it and 30 days later got a form letter back that says that it is their policy to contact the "source" of the information directly and upon completion of that they will provide me with company name they contacted. They also requested that I order a paid credit report online.

They gave me another contact number in the ridiculous form letter they sent me. I have called it repeatedly for days and it answers "Thank you for calling CSC Credit Services. Our offices are temporarily closed at this time. If you would like to add a fraud alert to your credit report...." What a runaround. Equifax is clearly hiding behind a service that is totally incompetent and non-responsive at best. They are only in business to sell us products that we don't need - Credit Reports with misinformation and Fraud Protection that doesn't work! Consumers are entitled to speak with someone to get their credit reports fixed as this affects their lives through borrowing capacity and employment screening. The Attorney General will be hearing about these thieves.
