i paid dan leeth a down payment of 4000 to add an addition to my home. he came a few times for consultation but never to do the work so i fired him and he won't give me my money back.
i filed a police report #130125637; a report with the attorney general and am paying an attorney.
the police say if they arrest him i may not get my money back, the lawyer wants more money and what if the man files bankruptcy or i run out of money to pay the lawyer. then i am out more money.
i know of two other people this man has swindled, one being the architect who drew the plans for my house.
if he walked into my house and stole 4000 cash there would be no problem here, right?
i do have a signed contract from dan leeth to do the work.
