Dan Gruver Good Choice Design Agreed to a work contract with my company, failed to deliver on assignment and took down 2 of my websites Sacramento California Internet

I'd like to clear Good Choice Design and Chris Hopkins. I know exactly who this individual is. For the time being I'm going to leave out his name, let me assure you him and his company are on many of these complaining sites which is probably what gave him the idea to attack me this route.

I have yet to make a cent in this industry. I put an ad out looking for work. I was contacted by the individual that filed this report and propositioned to do some web work. Being new to this line of work and naive I verbally agreed to work as “partial owner” of a printing service company. He asked me to contact friends that specialized in graphic design and development and offer them to join the team. Shortly after our first meeting red flags began to appear. Chris being one of the individuals I introduced to the “owner” saw this guys motives and intentions right away. He warned everyone there, most the members left but I stuck around for two weeks working regular hours redesigning his website which at the time was just an image of a flyer. I offered to host his site on my server for free saving him money. That is just a matter of pointing the domain he owns and has access to my severer and allowing my server to display it.

His story kept changing, one day he said we were going to be partial owners, then he said he was going to pay us hourly with bonuses. I had faith in this until another company in his building needed hourly help for the day setting up stage equipment. I volunteered working all day. Back at the office he told me when I get paid by the company I worked for I need to give him a portion because I'm his employee. I was shocked, he persisted. I told the other individuals working for him about this and we all decided to leave. He called me the next day very upset saying he was going to war with me. He asked me to point the domain back to his server, when I tried I noticed he changed all the password information. I contacted him about that and he aggressively told me I need to come to his office and do it there. Obviously that being unnecessary and extremely uncomfortable I refused. I guess this is his way of getting back at me.

Chris Hopkins saw how this individual took advantage of us and offered to work with me. Unfortunately I exhausted my savings at this point. I made the decision to move to The Bay Area and live with my girlfriend. I found temporary physical labor jobs that allowed me to get back on my feet. Chris and his company do great work and have a wonderful reputation. Chris I appreciate your attempt to find me work/work with me. I'm sorry that didn't work out. My relocating demanded more time and money. I wish I could have dedicated more of that time to your business. This should in no way shape or form effect you or your company.

If this complaint isn't removed in a timely manner I'm going to reveal the individual and his company on this site. I was also contacted by some of his ex-employees asking if I'd like to get involved in a report and possible law suit against him. I declined and figured we'd just go our separate ways but now having read this complaint, witnessing an attack on someone who was trying to help me out of a bad situation makes want to reconsider. I hope to see this removed soon.

I was going to start working with Dan Gruver and it never came to fruition. I have no idea what project this is referring to, or the two websites that this person, or even who this person is that wrote this report. He was on my website as an employee for a small amount of time and we were going to start promotion the business together. I got a few clients and some projects and asked him to work on them with me, and he never joined in. So we parted ways, and I took him down from the website. Whatever client or project it is that this instance is referring too I have never heard about until I received an email from some "reputation protection" service about it online. If the people that have these complaints would like to contact me directly so we can figure out what it is that there were supposed to receive from Dan, then maybe Good Choice Design can actually help and work with them.

I'd love to get this all cleared up.
