DealerClick is a total ripoff! Thought I was getting a great deal on a software that is certified to integrate with QuickBooks but upon the very first export to QuickBooks my transactions disappeared and the technical support staff knew nothing about the QuickBooks integration. The best answer they could give me was "we don't give support for anything inside of QuickBooks itself." Basically they were telling me that once it hits QB they have no idea what happens from there.

Their online marketing tools for Ebay Auctions are terrible too. In order to list a car on Ebay you have to put the car into "DealerClick" which uploads it to another site called "DealerNetwork" and then from there it has to be uploaded to another third party site called "LotVantage." The problem is that it takes a long time for each of these uploads to happen, usually overnight. So you can't list a vehicle from your inventory on Ebay for a few days after you initially load it into the system.

In short I had the software for a month and a half and was only ever able to sell 2 vehicles through Ebay because it was just that difficult to get the thing working right. I would never rely on this program to accurately portray any accounting information in QuickBooks either due to my disappearing transactions that they weren't able to locate!

I tried to cancel the service and they gave me the runaround for over a week. The owner would screen his calls and would always be "on the other line" or "not in the office today". They refused to give us a refund even though we paid up front for an entire year because that's the only way they would start us up.

I have since switched to a new software and even though it's not QuickBooks certified it works 10 times better!

First we'd like to thank the reviewer for his feedback - we wish we had heard his honesty earlier on in hopes of resolving his issues and satisfying another customers needs. We're always happy to hear from our customers in hopes that we may improve ourselves.

In regards to the Quickbooks integration:

We offer full support and training on using the Quickbooks integrated features in DealerClick - however we can only do so much against user-error. All the same we do what we can to help customers with their difficulties sometimes as far as sitting on the line with the customer and 3rd party customer service. The incident the reviewer is referring to was actually a rather rare and isolated incident that arose from user error - not malfunction on part of either Software Suites. Had the reviewer reached out to Intuit's support or reference materials I'm sure the issue would have been resolved quickly. As with any program, knowledge/training is important to effective use of it.

In Regards to The Online Marketing Suite:

The review was absolutely accurate in his description of the system's layout - in that a user will input his data once to DealerClick, and then that is uploaded remotely to our servers, which have a backend control panel (with the marketing suite integrated into it) called "DealerNetwork". We've constructed the backend like this for ease of use for our customers, and truth be told most really enjoy being able to access their data anywhere from a browser or our Mobile App. The issue the reviewer encountered specifically was a simple limitation created by using the Demo Version of our software. During the trial period, some of the services are restricted/limited. This includes the Marketing services, which take 24 hours to feed through in trial mode. Paying customers receive instant uploading of their data to Ebay and other market places, and do so with a single click.

We are very sorry the reviewer had such a difficult time using our software suite, however all we can say in defense is that without proper instruction/foreknowledge (which we and intuit happily provide upon request), using any program can cause difficulties.

We serve thousands of happy clients across the world for over twenty years now, and strive to improve ourselves with every step we take as leaders of the Dealership Management Software Industry.
