Department Of Economic Security Division Of Child Support Help for a father who is being raped for a child that lived with him Phoenix Arizona

I fought my wife for divorce and custody of our then 6 year old son in 1992.
I was given joint custody with his mother as the "custodial parent". I was set up with support payments and made them untill 6 months later she called me and said" I can't handle him anymore and he wants to live with you" I said GREAT, I will pick him up , I am NOt paying anymore support and I /we don't want a dime from you. Leave us alone.

My son moved in and I thought that was that. Being completely ignorant of how the system works I Never went down and changed the order for support. So time goes by, like 5 years and I get this letter(we were living in another state at the time) it said I owed $15,000 in back support, I look on my couch and my son is there and I thought, This is a joke, the kids with me and has been and threw it away(DUMB).

So a few more years pass(it's now 2000) and we were back in AZ (not phoenix but 4 hrs away) and they start garnishing my checks while he was with me. I called DES and was told to gather all his school records and such to prove he was with me and mailed them to the case worker. Nothing happened. they started taking my tax returns and money from my checks. I called again and was told to send in anything to verify the kid was with me. I got school records, notorized statements etc and mailed them in and got NOWHERE!


So , moving ahead in 2002 we moved back to the Phoenix area, I went down to the court house to plead my case with my son and after futher research not only was I being raped and robbed of money that my family of 5 now(3 kids) but my divorce to his mother was never finalized. WE WERE STILL LEGALLY MARRIED:( evidentely they set us up for mediation and she never showed. I dont remember this as it was solong ago but I thought I was divorced, I was remarried then and had just divorced my second wife.

It appears his mother collected afdc and the like on my son while he was with me and her being afraid of a fraud charge refused to help me/us.

We moved out of state again(job transfer) and I was lost on how to fix this. I could not afford a lawyer and couldnt figure a way out.

My son is now 22 and They say I owe somewhere around 30,000
I have 4 kids at home now and still support my son even though he does not live with me.

Last year I called the AZ governor's office and was transfered to his liason for child support , I pleaded my case and was told " the state doesnt care where it get's it's money from as long as they get it" It led them to my paycheck agin and they now take ever tax return plus $62.00 a check for a kid who lived with me.

If I am not legally divorced from her then#1 the order of support should not BE VALID?? they say I owe the state $15,000 and her $15,000.

His mother is a drug addict and also doesn't care where she gets money from.
She could simply go down and waive her rights to her half, leaving me with the balance owed to the state.

Last year I back filed taxes for 3 years and because I have a family of 6(4 kids at home) and am below the poverty level we get the earned icome credit.
It amounted to roughly $8000 in returns and the child tax credit$1800 all captured by des.

I NEED HELP but CANNOT AFFORD A LAWYER and live in KY.

Our return this year(2008) is almost $6400 but they will capture it:(

His mother is no help and We are drowning. I have had to have multiple major surgeries and have been off work @ 60% of my pay which is only $33,000 a year at full pay with a family of six and I am the only income in the house.

I am at a loss, every attorney I have contacted wants at least $2500 at we don't have it.

If someone would/could help us I will pay whatever money we can get back ??? or my next tax return???

I want my divorced to be finalized and my marriage of 12 years to be valid.
I want to stop being raped by the state of AZ.
I want to stop looking like a dead beat dad for a child who lived with me.
My credit is ruined because of it, I have been denied jobs(I believe) when they run a credit check and see such an enormous amount of back support owed.

There has to be some attorney out there who can help out of the kindness of their heart, someone who won't let a father who has/is there for ALL of his kids???


PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE????
