I bought the Dinovite Liquid for large dogs in November of 2011 after hearing so much about it on the radio.  My ten year old boxer mix was suffering from itchy and extremely foul smelling skin... he couldn't even sleep through the night without  awaking and rolling around on his back trying to scratch.

I used the Dinovite as directed for a full 90 days, with no improvement whatsoever.  At the end of 90 days, and at the advice of a knowledgeable friend, I tried a regular Omega 3-6-9 supplement from Walmart. (Over the counter)  Within a week or so, his hair was shining and he was sleeping and playing peacefully, not being tormented by the continuous need to roll and scratch.  He also stopped stinking like death.  We were elated for him!

I contacted Dinovite and requested a refund as per their guarantee.  The first email I got back from them was questioning me as to what I feed my dog and so forth, trying to find a reason not to pay the refund and  blame it on something I was doing.  After explaining in full, again, they issued me a return authorization number and told me as soon as I ship my empty box to them??, they will issue my refund.  I sent the box to them via USPS priority mail and watched the tracking number.  A while after it showed to be delivered, I still hadn't heard from them, so i emailed them again.  They told me they had never received my return box (and they won't refund you without it).  I provided her with the USPS click and ship delivery receipt showing it HAD been delivered.  She then told me that it had NOT been delivered, but she will issue refund anyway.  How kind!

I still have not received refund as of now.  No surprise.

A little late

AUTHOR: Joseph - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, January 25, 2024

It sounds like a vet was not consulted for your poor boxer. The syptoms could possibly be those of a yeast infection which could have easily been resolved by a vet. Supplements can be useful, but they are no substitute for professional medical care.

DinoVite not so good not so bad

AUTHOR: Theresa - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, June 12, 2013

I too wanted to put my two cents woth in.  I have a lab who had terrible skin problems mostly bleeding dry scabby skin and Dinovite did no good in fact it made it worse.  I had to take her back to the vet, more steroids more pills.

However after I had managed to get her skin issues cleared up the Dinovite has completely eliminated the problem.  It is in no way the miracle cure the ads claim it to be but we have gone a year with no skin related vet visits.

So don't beleive this cures all skin problems, it doesn't but it has maintained our dogs skin and coat and she is no longer suffering.

I might also mention that this product has a side effect everyone in my family refers to as dinofarts and that doesn't last long.  As soon as their sytems get used to the supplement that stops but at the beginning it was pretty bad.

I got a refund without a problem

AUTHOR: Brad B. - ()

POSTED: Saturday, May 11, 2013

I actually am a customer of Dinovite.  The first order I got was a product that my dog loved but I didn't.  It was a fish oil that Buster gobbled up but I hated the smell.  I guess I wasn't thinking of fish smell when I bought it.  LOL

So, I called the help line and spoke with a really nice woman.  She gave me a number to send back my return.  All I did was put that number on a piece of paper in my box with my name and such.  And in about 2 weeks, I was credited back my money.

I later decided to try the Dinovite powder for dogs.  So, I ordered it and have been using it for about 8 months.  I have ordered twice and am getting ready to order again.

I have never had any problems with this company.  They are probably the nicest people I've ever dealt with.  And, my dog doesn't itch or stink anymore.  So I'm a happy camper.

Dinovite worked very well.

AUTHOR: Linda - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 11, 2013

I have a 13 year old German Shepherd Dog that had been suffering constant scratching, hot-spots, bacterial skin infections and miserable shedding.  After spending more than $2k over 2 years at the vet for medicated shampoos, antibiotics, allergy shots and pills, it was clear that nothing was working.  Frustrated and desperate, I tried Dinovite (not expecting ANY results whatsoever...but I guess that is what happens when you are frustrated and desperate).

In one day, she stopped biting her front and back paws.  After three days her hair was starting to grow back on her front and back paws and she stopped scratching almost entirely.  At four days, her coat was noticably softer and shinier.

So far, the only thing I am still waiting on is her smell, but we are off to the groomers tomorrow (with a bottle of $85 medicated shampoo) so I will see if this goes away then.  Also, I introduced the new food to her too quickly and it upset her tummy on day two...but that was my fault. So I backed off the full dose and she appears to be doing fine.

She likes the food (but I did add the Omega oil and Livochops)...in fact, it is the only time I have ever seen her eat the food as soon as I have prepared the meal; she usually waits several hours before eating.

I have no affiliation with Dinovite whatsoever.  I only know that I am so relieved that my dog is doing so much better and cannot for the life of me understand why it wouldn't work for the other dogs in Ripoff Report.  Perhaps there is something more sinister going on with your pet - I hope you all find the cure soon; I know how heartbreaking it can be.

Simple return/refund policy to follow

AUTHOR: Dinovite - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 29, 2012

At Dinovite, we have an extremely easy to follow return policy.  http://www.dinovite.com/guarantee.html/

This person used the product from Nov. 2011 for 90 days, so through sometime in Feb. 2012, which is this month, the same month they posted this complaint.  There has not even been enough time for a credit to be given and show up on a statement.  We are still in Feb. 2012.

Whenever anyone tells us our product is not working for their dog or they are having any issues whatsoever, we ask a series of questions about the dog's diet, medications, treats, shampoos to see if there are any areas of improvement that could make the situation successful.  People order Dinovite supplements because their dog is itching, scratching, shedding, stinking.  We have a staff of pet nutrition coaches who work directly with the pet owner to help in many areas.

For example, if a person is feeding a dog food with the main ingredient being corn, adding a natural supplement simply is not going to help.  The main foundation of the dog's diet must be meat, a species appropriate diet.  Just like if a person ate corn dogs and donuts every day, a natural supplement simply could not cure this person's nutritional deficiencies.

So, this person received the same customer support every customer gets.  Then asked for a refund, was given a return authorization number and, then returned the unused product or the empty container for a refund.  Once we receive the package, we have 30 days to issue a refund.  Some of this time frame has to do with credit card company and when the refund shows up on a person's card. And it could be that we just got the package yesterday or today...it is still Feb. 2012!

As this person does not leave a name, I cannot check on the refund.

We have no issues with returns or refunding product price when a return is received.  It's unfortunate that anyone can put what they want on Ripoff Report.  Instead, check with the BBB, who investigates complaints.  We have an A+ rating with the BBB as well as thousands of very satisfied customers.
