We have a $100 Direct TV coupon. When my wife signed up her mother for Direct TV we said we didn't have the coupon account number with us, should we call back to sign up later.

The Direct TV customer service rep we spoke to said we could call back at any time for the $100 discount. Now we are calling back and a new CSR is telling us we had to provide the coupon information when we signed up, we can no longer get the $100 discount.

We signed up because we had this discount, it was the only thing that made the price better than their competitor. We spoke with a Direct TV supervisor and they won't help.

We would now like to disccontinue our Direct TV due to this situation, but they want to charge us a $480 cancellation fee.
