I took my SUV in to have the tires rotated and balanced and left with a repair bill.   They broke one of the lugs on my wheel and
refused to fix it.   During the same repair, they crack the cover to my $2000.00 rims I brought from them.  Tough luck for me, the rims where discontinued.

No compensation for that either.  I have three cars and all have tires and wheels from discount tire, but they could care less.  I guess they have enough business and can afford to lose one customer.

You don't know what your talking about, apparently you have never removed a wheel.three years ago i went to discount tire direct with a car that was two years old and NEVER had the wheel's taken off the car,it was as it came from the factory the KID putting the wheels back on broke the stud because he used a impact gun without putting the lugs on buy hand first and then wraping up with a impact gun.THEN TODAY i went to a differant location after the first bad deal.this time i took my car there a few month;s ago and had no problem then i went home a week later i did brakes took off and put wheels back on myself buy hand no problem then i did shocks again i took off the wheels and put them back on buy hand,

i got new wheels from a friend again took off the wheels and put the new wheels on buy hand no problem 2 tires went flat so i took off the wheels and put the old one's back on again i didn't have any problems.i purchased new tires for the new rims and i went back to the same store that did the tires a few months ago and what do ya know they broke off a stud.now ths is a car i know for a fact had no problems count the amount of time's i took them on and off myself without breaking a stud!the counter guy gave me the lug nut with the broken stud in it it was cross threaded then forced on till they broke the stud how dare you act like the customer is a jerk you must work for DISCOUNT TIRE.

i am a mechanic and i can tell you broken wheel stud's are not as common as your letting on in 30 years the only wheel studs that i have ever had break on me were both at DISCOUNT TIRE DIRECT U SUCK,if they are hireing kid's off the street to do the work that are careless then they should pay for the repair when i worked at a new car dealership,if a mechanic broke something guess what he had to papy for it.they said they couledn't fix it and i dam sure woulden't let them near my car again with a tool in hand.i will bring the bill to them!!!!

Wheel studs break, it happens durring service, it is not the fault of the tire shop, it happens and you were un-lucky. So no they will not repair it free.

As to the wheels. You bought discontinued wheels and somthing got cracked. OOPS sorry, no replacement parts available, bet you would have got a small credit or additional discount if you hadnt come unglued on the counter guy. (Yes that was a Guess, 85% correct over the last 6 months)
