this company is so boghus there custmer service is the worst in the indystry they need raandome drug screening or somthing i am a sat instalation co and hate doing buss for them and i stright out tell the cust the horse s**t service they have and should of got directv instead just a heads up to cosumer before they go in to the contract with them

The problem is when you try to cancel service.

Dishnet was great until I tried to cancel service when I moved to an apartment where I couldn't get service.

That's when it became a huge fiasco. The problem with Dish Network isn't when you are enjoying their service, it's when they rip you off when you cancel service. They charged me twice (over $1000) for used equipment that I had already returned to them.

I do not agree that dish is a rip off company. I have been with them since April the 1st year they came out . Back in 96 or 97. With the exception of last year when due to trees I could not use them. I have never had any trouble with any concerns. They have always been very polite and very helpful. I use to work for an installation company that handled Direct TV and they were a nightmare. You could never get ahold of any one at customer service. I knew people that tried for weeks. Even us as a company working for them. We could not get them on the line.
I am now back with Dish now that we have just brought a house and was able to have it installed. After having warner cable for the last year I am so happy to be back with them.

I don't agree

I was a Dish Network customer for almost five years, and never once had a problem with their customer service. The tech people I spoke with actually solved my problems, and I had no trouble cancelling my service when I switched to DirecTV (which I only did because I wanted the DirecTV Tivo system).

I've found that treating a customer service rep with courtesy goes a long way in getting your problem solved. Most of them really will try to help you if you give them a chance.
