I paid $6,000 (of $8,000) for a service dog to assist my disabled daughter's walking ability - provide balance when walking and obtain help if she falls.  We were given the bargain price of $8,000 because there had been a prior owner.  The dog was dirty and had chronic diarrhea when we got him, but that was not the problem.  The dog was scared to death of people and sounds and constantly hid behind my daughter when anyone approached, nearly knocking her off-balance.  We worked with the sweet dog for months but he remained scared and skittish so we returned him.

Mr. Taylor refused to return a penny of our money, saying the dog is a model k-9 and is so amazingly trained he can even sniff out seizures in a crowd of strangers!  He now says our money was a donation.

The same dog was sold for a third time to the family of an autistic child for $10,000. I found them accidentally - they were advertising their purchase on the internet and asking for donations to help defray the cost. I contacted the family and found out that the dog is just as problematical for them as he was for us. We agreed that the dog's behavior is completely abnormal and is indicative of abuse.

On further investigation, I discovered Mr. Taylor has been in trouble with the law on numerous occasions, has many judgments against him, and also has filed for bankruptcy numerous times.  Also, his US K-9 company (an alias) has been suspended by the Franchise Tax Board.

When you go to his facility in Phelan, he talks a lot about how great he is but demonstrates nothing of substance. His website is elaborate but probably plagiarized. Dogwish Foundation is nothing but a scam operation.
