Approximately 4 months ago, I took my truck into Done Right Automotive for a blown wheel assembly. I left it and went to get something to eat and when I came back, Rick took my husband out to the shop and showed him that the ball joints on the passenger side were in serious need of repair. We agreed to have him not only replace the lower one but also the upper and lower on both sides. When I was ready to pay the bill, he said cash only. I said I am a local and he said too bad cash only. I informed him f he wanted to get paid he would take a check. Aprroximately 1200 dollars later we left. Last Friday, the upper ball joint broke!!!!! We had it towed back to Done Right and did not hear a peep Friday. Monday at 1 my husband called again and left a message. He then called the othe Sevierville location and no one answered there either. Finally Dave called back and said it would cost us $250. Really!!!!! Not again!!!! Dave informed my husband that it was our responsibility to pay for it. They fixed it 4 months ago. He refused to honor their work. We called a tow truck and showed up to get the truck and both tires were off. When my husband told him we were there for the truck the 1 guy there looked surprised. He flat out refused to put the tires back on the truck, but did graciously roll them underneath the truck The tow truck driver put the tires back on and we took it to another repair place, who by the way, was not surprised. Not only did Done Right take the busted ball joint out, the "worker" there woudl not show it to us. Now I also have a broken brake line which Done Right did not tell me about. It is our feeling, the ball joint was never repalced. They jhust don't break off like that in normal driving. Both tow truck drivers discouraged us from taking out cars there!!!! These guys are JOKES. Somebody is going to get seriously hurt with the way they bait and switch parts on cars. I live here and will tell everyone I see about how you run your business. No legitimate business owner deals in just cash, You don't take credit/debit cards beacuse either you are cheap or can't get approved. I get the bad check stuff as I own a business. Not taking plastic huge RED FLAG! You are a disgrace to ur community and a bottom feeder. If you have dealt with this guy, I am sorry. I have already reported him to all the authorities and will place him on every review site I can find. No one should have to be fleeced by this buiness and he continues to grow!!!!

Wow You Missed Your Calling

AUTHOR: Alabama - ()

This is the best piece of fiction I have ver read. Obviously you are an owner, Rick or a manager =, Dave or better yet an employee. While I can believe that they were "NICE" to you as they were to us, have a problem and see what happens. I have spoken to MANY others in ther area as well as looke them up on line and the revoews are 10 to 1 BAD!!!

You derserve an Oscar nomination for this. I almost spit my coffee out when I red from laughter. This place cheated me out of over $1200 for a reapir that was clearly not done correctly or at all. Had I been driving my truck at any spedd at all I ould have been seriously hurt if not killed. Can yo live with the fact that someone may read your "rebuttal" and they end up hurt? And most importantly, there were other reports filed the same day as me and you chose not to put it on theirs. HMMM.

I will tell everyone I meet about my experience with your shop and interestly enpugh when the Tow truck got to the other shop, first question out of the mouth of the mechanic was " Did Done Right do this repair first?"

A Cash only business is fishy especially in auto repair. Lesson learned.

I can only pray that at some point yo make things right with all the people you have wronged, not for thier sake but for yours. You have to look in the mirror everyday. Me I will never see you again, but the mouth will run.

My experience at Done Right Auto

AUTHOR: A customer for life - ()

POSTED: Thursday, January 16, 2014
Today I took my car to Done Right Automotive on Winnfield Dunn Pkwy in Sevierville for an oil change. Let me tell you, The work they did was outstanding and the customer service was even better.

I grew up in a service station that my parents owned and was taught to give the custome the best possible service, so I was pleasantly suprised at how Dave and Rick treated me and my car. They took extra time to ensure I was aware of what my service included what my car would need going forward and what the biggest priorities were. When Dave took my car I noticed he took steps to make sure my interior stayed clean.

While waiting I also noticed how Rick was concerned with the waiting area making sure it was tidy and since it was cold he brought out an additional heater and instructed his help to be aware of the temperature as well. Then a few momnts later as I was interested in a CNN news report on the television I saw Dave grab the remote and turn the volume up sine the little heater was on near it. He must have noticed I was listening to it and couldn't hear it well. I was there only a half an hour or so but everytime I turned around they were right there! Dave kept me informed on the status of my car so it didn't seem like it took long at all.

When I was nearly ready to leave there was another family that came in for some work they had apparently had been advised about as Dave remembered them and asked if they were ready for the "brake pads" or something like that. I could tell they obviously make all thier customers feel at home like they did me. I'll DEFINITLY return.
