Ed Koehn Ford's salemen sold us something that completely misrepresented. We went in to see if we could upgrade to a truck that could haul more than our Navigator could (which towed 8500#) and they talked us into the Ford F150 with Ecoboost because it could haul 11,300 lbs. We traded in our Navigator that we owed free and clear. Come to find out about a year later when going to purchase a travel trailer that truck we were talked into didn't have the MAX trailer package and we could only haul 7300#!!! We went back to them to make it right because they completely misrepresented the vehicle we bought and the salesman was no longer there and they wouldn't do a thing to help us but tell us we can take a loss on the $6500 we got on trade for our Navigator and go in the hole another $6500 because they would only give us fair trade value and not what we owed. They do not care about being honest to their customer. They sold us the most expensive vehicle on the lot knowing it was NOT the vehicle we were searching for!

You have found out (as many of us have) that you can't believe a thing a car salesman tells you.
You have to do your own research and make sure what they are telling you is true. He may not even have been lying (yeah right) and was just wrong, that COULD have happened.
You have to do all your research and be more knowledgable than the salesman before you even darken their door. If you have ANY doubts or if they are telling you things you aren't sure of, tell them you'll get back with them and find out for certain before you believe them.
It shouldn't be that way but it is.
