American Leisure and Easy Saver made unathorized charges to my credit card from information given to them through Encore Marketing (6 Waterview Dr., Shelton, Ct./ phone# (800) 935-0296).
Encore Marketing required a credit card # in order to pay the $9.95 shipping and handling charges for a free sample that they advertised on the radio.
The unauthorized $1.00 and $14.95 charges made by both American Leisure and Easy Saver appeared on a subsequent credit card statement with no further product having been requested or shipped.
I had called the 800 number furnished By Encore upon recieving my free sample indicating that I did not want to recieve any more product in the future and was given a confirmation# to verify the phone call. This was the procedure that they specified on the packing slip that came with the free sample.
