This company promised me 100% commissions on future sales, which turned out to not be true- I found out that I only get 50% of my first 4 sales, and then 80% of every 5 sales thereafter.   Spent $625 (required to make money from those I recruit through the site- yes, this is a thinly-masked pyramid scheme). Changed my mind when I realized I'd never be able to make my money back but they refuse to refund my costs.

Beware of this scam.  You won't find negative reviews of this company online because the contract states that all users must agree to "not make any derogatory statements, either oral or written, or otherwise disparage us, our products, employees, services, work or employment, and will take all reasonable steps to prevent others from making derogatory or disparaging statements. You agree that it would be impossible, impractical, or extremely difficult to fix the actual damages suffered by reason of a breach of this paragraph, and accordingly hereby agree that Company may determine
recover five thousand dollars ($5,000) as the amount of damages sustained by reason of each such breach, without prejudice to Company's  right to also seek injunctive or other equitable relief. "

Critical Suggestion: Stop laundering your money now...

AUTHOR: Kevin Aquilina - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, August 07, 2013

Sorry I can't address you by name as you didn't include it anywhere, but this goes to the original poster who wrote: "Empower Network Refused to refund $625 Internet, Internet."

I sincerely DO NOT want to criticize your intelligence in any way, shape or form — but I do have a couple of suggestions for you to avoid getting ripped off again.

Suggestion #1: STOP buying into quick riches or any false dreams, UNLESS you truly work hard to achieve those dreams. There is NO Free Lunch in any type of business.

Suggestion #2: Read VERY Carefully all disclosures, contracts and policies before you join any biz opp, mlm or any other type of business; for that matter. This applies to both the online and offline businesses.

You clearly need to choose you future destination wisely — and this takes time and a very strong determination, including a strong mental decision. Currently I have to be blunt but brutally honest with you — you are NOT ready for such a move and I'll explain my constructive criticism with you about your views and actions.

First and foremost: Empower Network clearly states that there is No Guarantee that you will make any money in this business. So in other words you accepted the risk beforehand by paying to make business with them. While this may sound dodgy to you, it is 100% ethical and should be included in ANY Type of Business (offline & online); not to mention that is mandatory in most countries and states. The reason is that human factors are the variant of the formula, in most cases.

Good systems work well when they are used exactly as they were intended to — without any type of alteration. The problem is usually with people being too brave to stick to the manual (to the Tee) and work the system without questioning it and/or altering it. I'm saying this because you did sign up without even understanding the compensation plan.

The system does pay 100% commissions less transaction fees on four out of their six products. If you watched the compensation plan video you will clearly see that laid out in front of you. In fact (at any level) you will make your money back from that particular product on your first sale! Yes, it also states that the second, forth and sixth sale,; and every fifth after that of the product goes to your sponsor (upline) who has the most initiative to help you generate even more sales. That is the beauty of the system and that is why there is so much bondage and integrity with your upline (sponsor) because they also make money through your efforts so they are more likely to be incentivized to help you generate more sales.

And before anyone jumps into any conclusions and says that your sponsor makes money from you unethically, guess what.... there is a surprise for you here. Your sponsor makes more money from you (long term) if you generate more sales and are not "All In." Yes that is not a mistake or typo.

Say that you enter the basic level of $25 (Viral Blogging Platform) and decide to promote it to earn money, so you add the $19.95 Affiliate Fee; totaling to $44.95/month and you make a sale which also includes the monthly $100 Inner Circle Audios/Trainings archive, you only get paid on the $25 level. You do not get paid for the additional $100 sale (less transaction fee). This goes straight to your upline! The same goes for all the other products, including the one-time purchase products.

If this was a pyramid scheme or scam the money in the above example would NOT go to your upline. Instead it would go to the company (corporate) or CEOs. In fact this system is created equally that anybody can outrank the Company Owners (as they are affiliates like anyone else involved). How cool is that for transparency? (I interpret it as The Rules Apply to Anyone, Equally - No fringe benefits as a company founder or co-founder).

Last but not least: The challenge for transparency to other founders of any online business has not been challenged by Empower Network in the right direction. As far as I'm concerned nobody has yet set up a dedicated average income disclaimer page which is updated daily every 24 hours. Does this mean that you are guaranteed to make at least that minimum daily average? Heck no.

Assuming you go out and buy an offline franchise business license, like Subway or Starbucks as an example. We know it is a proven model because we, the general public have probably experienced those businesses one time or another and have seen them flourish in their arena. Yet if you fail to make money, can you go and claim your refund for the franchise license? I trust your intellegence to come up with a good viable answer.

Yet you did the same mistake by stating that you did not get your refund money back when the site clearly states that there is No Refund Policy after 3 days!

Hope you found my advice and free guidance helpful. I have nothing to gain as I am not even your sponsor, but feel sorry for you. The important lesson is to learn from your mistake. That is part of our internal, mental growth. I wish you the best of luck, whatever path you choose. I also suggest that before you even consider any other online biz you start reading self-development books in self-development and entrepreneurial books. This will help you develop the required mindset in becoming an entrepreneur business owner, which is completely different from the job mentality you are currently in right now.

Life is What You Make It...

AUTHOR: chelli1977 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, November 16, 2012

The company offers 100% commissions to its membersand the company delivers 100% commissions to its members.  Period. You may not receive 100% of the sales but none of the money goes to the companyit goes to the members.  If I sign up under Mark, either Mark or his mentor get 100% (less fees that processing companies charge to process my credit card) of the money that I pay.  I pay $25 for a blogging system that is professionally designed and programmed, SEO optimized on an authority site, with professionally written sales funnels and plenty of information to get me going.  Its an amazing marketing tool IF you know how to use itjust like any other tool.

Tying my profitability to my mentors profitability means that it benefits him to teach ME how to succeed doing itthis is a GOOD thing.  I want to train the people that sign up under me how to succeed so that I can make more money.  You COULD pay a bunch of money to start it yourself and then HIRE a mentoring coach for $1000 that has no vested interest in your success, I suppose.

If you want to just use the awesome blogging tool$25 is an excellent price for a professional blog that gets your message ranked higher in search engines.  If you want to sell the blog & earn commissions then you join the affiliate program.  A measly $20 a month.  Other affiliate marketing programs charge much more, Ill have you know.

You didnt HAVE to spend $625 to make money through empower network and their no-refund disclosure is stated numerous times EVERYWHERE as is the income disclosure.  Certainly those that have the know-how & have developed the necessary skills are going to do better.  Thats just common sense no matter WHAT youre doing.

Im not sure what you expected, what you did wrong or whose team you were onIm sorry that you had a bad experience.  I would be very interested in discussing your experience further if you were open to it.

Empower Network is A Real Affiliate Marketing Company.

AUTHOR: Alex Herrera - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, November 04, 2012

I joined 2 weeks ago from the exact post date of this rebuttal. I think that some of the folks here have a solid valid compliant in regards to the lack of transparency with the upfront fees that will incur over time. However...."in defense for the empower Network".

I feel that several newbies, are clearly not ready for this massive undertaking. They are not ready, because they are too quick to judge if they do not get results within 2 day's. So silly!!! I know this to be true because I was one of them. :-)

Nothing is free folks! their will be fee's when you build your network as is with life in general. The empower Network is in my opinion. The best hybrid power leg affiliate payout program in the industry. This system does work if you give it time. Further the blog does rank in the search engines, you just got to know how to optimize your blog post permalinks.

I will say that Dave Sharp and Wood should be a bit more transparent with up front fee's in the very beginning of the prospecting phase. This will allow individuals to better make an educated decision about joining the empower network.

Cheers

Empower Network

AUTHOR: James - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, June 03, 2012

They talk about a 6 figure income?  Just look at their income discloser and you can see that less than 1% of the members earn a 6 figure income.

In fact, they state that 90% earn between $1400 and $4200 a year, well short of a 6 figure income.  Then subtract the monthly fees and you are making far less.

This doesn't include the members who has not received a commission in the last 30 days or have quit.  If they would have included those member the earnings would be far less.

The numbers speak for themselves, what do you think?

Why I left empower network

AUTHOR: stewartsweb - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, May 10, 2012

Empower Network overall is a good company I have nothing against them in anyway, I just have been marketing for another company and our leader has created by far very great system to promote with, by far most common sense company that I have ever came across.

Empower Network costs about $1,645.00 to get everything that they offer then it's either $44.95 monthly bill or $144.95 monthly bill.

My company is about $500.00 to get started with $325.00 is the start up, $50.00 monthly bill and if you decide to us are system it's free with training, or you can spend $22.00 or $55.00 a month and what you get is ridiculous to say the least. So with are company it's about $105.00 to $170.00 for a monthly bill. check it out here www.planmobile.net

Empower Network NOT a Scam

AUTHOR: Jake Scott - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 17, 2012

Empower Network is a blogging platform that allows affiliate marketers to earn income when they bring subscribers into the network.  Resellers or affiliate marketers are paid directly by the "bloggers" that enroll through them.  Empower Network does not collect money from anyone.  They have a 100% payout.

When the complainant states that they received 50% on their first four enrollments (and it's actually their first six) and 80% after that, it represents a revenue model that not only pays out 100% (minus Paypal or merchant account fees) it offers a dynamic and extremely rewarding compensation system.

When you become an affiliate marketer and you begin enrolling new subscribers, your 2nd, 4th and 6th subscribers are passed up to the rep under whom you enrolled.  And then every fifth new subscriber you enroll passes up.  So it can be argued that you get 50% "commissions" on your first 6 sign-ups and then 80% after that.

However, there is a 100% payout and the complainant receives the very same benefit s/he created for his/her up-line "enroller".  So when the complainant's 1st, 3rd, 5th and every four out of five subscribers after that begin enrolling new subscribers, their 2nd, 4th, 6th and then every 5th passes up to the complainant.

In fact, every time a subscriber passes up to the complainant (or any affiliate marketer in the network) the process repeats itself - meaning that that affiliate (in this case the complainant) receives payments from the 2nd, 4th, 6th and then every 5th new subscriber enlisted by their second level pass-through affiliates, and on and on and on.

It's the most dynamic, powerful revenue model I've ever seen or even imagined.

There are over 17,000 subscribers to Empower Network and this program is only able to list ONE complaint.  In one day I can provide over 100 positive comments from everyday folks who use and benefit from, not only the blogging platform, but the opportunity to create significant income with a 100% payout on the backend.
