Explorer-USA RV San Antonio location Sold RV out from under me! San Antonio, Texas

My husband and I was trying to buy a fifth wheel. On Wednsday they talked us into putting a down payment down before the loan was approved. Shouldn't have done that! Gave them a check for $3000.

On Thursday salesman called to say loan went thru. On Friday went to sign final papers and give them title to our trade-in. Down payment check cleared bank on Friday. Saturday evening I received a call from salesman saying loan was rejected because my husband works seasonal work. He tells me he will call bank on Monday and see if he can talk to them about reap proving us.

I was so stunned it took me a few mins after getting off phone to think. I sent him a text(we had been texting back and forth for a few days also) that he can talk to bank but I would get my own financing on Monday.

On Monday I started the loan process and my loan advisor called him for info. He told her the trailer had sold over weekend!(sold on Sunday afternoon) She asked him if he had told me? He said no I was about to call her. So he called me right them that was 2:30pm. He tried to give me excuse after excuse.

I drove down there to get my title and money back. He told me company policy was to sell to who ever has money first. Not sure what he thought my $3000 was? I had money down first!

Then tried to sell me another trailer....yeah right!

Now it's going to take a week to get my money back. It better be sitting in my mail box when he said its going to be!
