My name is Doug Gardner, and I am the author of the above listed postings and Founder and Operations Manager of Water Gallery LLC.  The update I am providing is voluntarily, true and is not being given under duress or threat of retaliation.

It is my desire to remove the complaint (together with the subsequent postings) from this website. 
Unfortunately, I am unable to delete these postings. Instead, I am providing this update to retract entirely the above-posted complaint and updates.

I request that current and potential customers of the companies and individuals noted above disregard the statements that were made. The above-mentioned companies and individuals did not engage in any unlawful, unethical or dishonest actions in their dealings with me or my company.

I regret any harm done to reputations of those mentioned and any confusion this may have caused.

Please allow me to explain the unfortunate circumstance regarding Fathom Fountains, Serverside Design and SEO Houston.  My name is Doug Gardner, and I am the Founder and Operations Manager of Water Gallery LLC.  We are an internet based retail business and specialize in custom fountains and waterfall sales and have been in the fountain business since 2007.   I hired Serverside Design in 2007 to manage our web site programming and internet marketing needs.  Our relationship was great for about four years, and we were happy with the service they provided.  Sadly, in late 2011 we were forced to fire ServerSide Design due to unethical and dishonest practices towards our business.  The comments posted in my original RipOff Report are true and were solely based on my negative experiences with these companies. 

Fathom Fountains, Serverside Design and SEO Houston are owned and managed by two brothers, Roger and Bob Janik.  Roger controls Serverside Design and SEO Houston, and both of these companies provide search engine marketing, web site design and other computer related services. They have been in the computer business since 1999.  Fathom Fountains, however is a new business Roger and Bob co-founded in 2011 and Bob is the active manager of Fathom Fountains.

ServerSide Design was responsible for all of Water Gallerys computer programming and online marketing needs from 2007 2011.  During this time they were provided detailed and confidential information about our business including the names of our fountain suppliers, product details and descriptions, marketing strategies, profit margins and other highly confidential and valuable business information.  Roger and Bob Janik took this confidential information and co-founded Fathom Fountains to compete directly against us.  They built Fathom Fountains without my knowledge and without my approval, while they continued to work on our web site and charge us their monthly fees.

Once I learned of Fathom Fountains existence, I immediately contacted Roger and Bob to let them know it was unethical for them to open a fountain web site.  I asked them to cancel the new business, and Roger and Bob completely disregarded my request.  They continued developing and promoting Fathom Fountains using the detailed knowledge I provided as a loyal client for four years.  As a result, I was forced to fire Serverside for unethical practices and dishonest actions at the end of 2011.

Finally, it is essential that I explain why I falsely updated the initial RipOff Report showing it was posted in error, when in fact the report is true.   Roger and Bob Janik had access to our private passwords and important login details.  They had administrator access to our blogs and Google Adwords account.  Furthermore, our web site was hosted on a private server designated by Roger, so I feared they could easily destroy our web site and hurt our business.  I posted the original comments in truth and only 24 hours later tried to retract my statements to avoid the possibility of retaliation. 

This report was posted in error and all statements are incorrect.  I am retracting the entire report against Fathom Fountains, Serverside Design, and SEO Houston. These comments were not intended towards the said parties and should be disregarded completely.  This report was intended towards another company, as we have never interacted with Fathom Fountains, Serverside Design or SEO Houston on any account.  Please disregard this report in its entirety. I apologize for the confusion.
