First of all, I do not ever purchase anything on line. I always use the phone to hear a live human voice to deal with. And, to see on my Discover statement a charge of $39.94 by WWW.SAFECART.COM FEDERAL WAY WA, my eyeballs nearly fell out of their sockets. I've never heard of this "company," if it is one.
Whoever is behind this scheming, meddlesome enterprise, should be tarred and feathered and booted out of this country.
Thank goodness for the Internet. I find that I'm not alone being ripped off by scoundrels like WWW.SAFECART.COM FEDERAL WAY WA.
I wonder if I explain all this to Discover, the amount of $39.94 will disappear?

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Just do a DISPUTE in writing, AND understand this
AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

All you have to do is make a written dispute of the unauthorized charge. Very simple. Notice that you have to do this in writing to protect your rights.
Also understand that you put yourself in much more risk financially speaking when you give your banking or credit card information over the phone, verbally to a person. Do you know who that person is/ Do you know how your info is being used? How it is being stored?
It is a FACT that the safest way to use your credit card IS online, as no human ever sees your info as it is encrypted.
Face to face and over the phone transactions are NOT "secure".
Get some education.
