I sent a Christmas package to a disabled person on December 6, 2013. FedEx said that they delivered it on Wednesday, December 11th but they didn't. They didn't leave the package, didn't knock on the front door, and didn't leave with a neighbor.

I've contacted FedEx several times and I'm told that they're 'investigating' and will call me later that day, but then they don't call at all. I've not heard from them and my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. These FedEx employees keep telling me that they'll talk with the driver but then they don't. There's nothing in their notes that they've spoken with him at all.

There is no excuse for losing a package, especially at this time of year. After reading other complaints, I'm worried that FedEx won't honor paying me back. In the meantime, a challenged individual goes without Christmas because FedEx lost her only Christmas gift.

Really..so you must be perfect

There is no excuse for losing a package, especially at this time of year

- Okay FedEx and other shippers, ship millions of packages this time of year.  How many do you hear about them loosing?  An extreamly small percentage.  So here is something to think about..they are human just like you.  What if someone held you to a perfect standard and then say there was no excuse why you made a mistake?

Now, as to this missing package.  According to you FedEx didn't loose it, they delivered it on the 11th of December.  What happens after that they really can't be responsible for.    Here is a thought, perhaps they did leave it at the door.  Perhaps they did knock and your friend didn't hear it.  Perhaps they left it on the doorstep and it was stolen.  Perhaps even your friend did get it and is lying.  Now, of course no one was there and there is no way of knowing.  But unless you are going to accuse the FedEx driver of theft..what reason would they have to say it was delivered and then not deliver it?  Oh..and if you are accusing the driver of theft why haven't you contacted the police?

Oh and one final thing.  This package was supposed to be delivered on the 11th.   You would actually have had up until about the 19th to get another package sent out and have it delivered before Christmas.  Heck even using the USPS you could have had it as late as the 21st and still probably made it by their priority mail.  Then you could have delt with this "missing package" after Christmas.
