First American Title Insurance Comapny is the worst title company I have ever seen!  There is no professionalism.  Lazy and no brain.

We were supposed to sell and close the house in February. But this company that the buyers and their realtor picked up messed up on their documents and we had to wait for one month to close until they cleaned up their mess. Through the process to file the documents, they kept on making mistakes and telling us stupid excuses one after another. Of course, there was another housing loan (around 1400) coming up to be paid to the bank during this period. After a lot of disputes and excuses from them, the buyers had to pay off, which our realtor said never heard of.

After one month, we finally had a closing day in March. In the office of the title company, we signed a bunch of documents piled up on the desk.  We asked the guy twice "is this all? All set?"  He said "all set. you are ready to go" with a smile.

On the next day at 8:30 in the morning, we got a call from this idiot asking us to sign up one more paper because they forgot about it.  |O|

Do you still wannna go to this title company? I can be sure that you have to pay more than you have to do in another company. It might be cheaper a little bit and you may feel like you save some money for the process. But actually it is not.  In addition, you gradually feel stress from them even though you are paying for them. Think about your time and money and energy saving before you go. Especially if you are palnning to have a baby and raise a family in the new house!

Only missing out of this scenerio is a bag of pop corn and a can of soda.

If I posted what I really want to say I probably would get taken to court

AUTHOR: Torlelli - (USA)

if I posted what I really wanted to say I probably will get taken to court so I will keep it short and brief.  Maybe one day I will post the whole story.  In my opinion I do not believe that you can trust some of the people that work there.  Especially some hot dog over in California.   Knowing what I know when I buy my next house I will walk away from the house if the seller insists on using this particular  Company or even if the seller's agent insist on using this particular company I will walk away from the deal.   If I post the whole story I will post pictures
