Instead of tearing up unsolicited offers from rip-off credit card companies, just stuff their self addressed prepaid envelopes with anything and post it back to them. Remove all identification so that they will send your more.
It's quite obvious that your personal and private information is being sold to all and sundry. Fight back and send their crap back to them at their expense.
