Fitness 19 Closing business & not giving proper refunds. Boise, Idaho

My husband and I joined Fitness 19 at 3658 S. Findley Ave in SE Boise in May 2009.  We paid a total of $109.90 in enrollment fees and than $19 a month for both us.  It was 3 minutes from our house and felt the price was right for what was offered.  It is not worth $30 a month due to what the gym has to offer. 

We got a letter in the mail yesterday that said they were closing the Findley location on September 25, 2009 but were transferring our membership to the Cole Road or Meridian/Eagle location (they are both at least a 30 minute drive from our house).  I called to cancel right away, who in their right mind will drive an hour around trip to work out an hour in a gym that only offers weights and machines?  They said I was the first upset customer, that everyone else was going to be making the trip to still use the gym.  I find that really hard to believe. 

They felt they were being kind by issuing us a $8.03 refund for the days of September we wouldn't be using. What about the $109.90 enrollment fees we paid just 5 months ago?  They said "corporate" wouldn't allow them to address that issue unless you enrolled this last month.  We all know that they are independently owned franchises and that if they wanted to make it right they would.  I'm not asking for the whole thing back but come on........  With our monthly membership and our enrollment we paid $40.98 a month for 5 months for a gym that is worth $9 a month.
