Fitzmar Dobermans Mary Jo Ansel Lying , crooked Doberman breeder ! Pennsylvania

This report is completely false and that person should be ashamed of themselves. They are obviously NOT a proud owner of a Fitzmar Doberman like the rest of us. Mary Jo is a very dedicated and caring breeder. Ever since we brought our puppy home, she has been extremely helpful and involved every step of the way.  She made it a point to constantly contact US and meet with us every week to help with our pups ears. Does that sound like something a puppy mill would do? From the beginning, it was clear that Mary Jo cared about each puppy and wasnt in it "just for the money". We could not be happier with our dobe and our interactions with Mary Jo. The person who wrote this bogus report is clearly trying to smear her name. Shame on you.

As the other consumer comments and Mary Jo have proved in their rebuttals, the ripoff report by Alexander in Tewsberry, MA is an obvious lie.  I have a pet puppy from Fitzmar Dobermans and I know Mary Jo personally, and there is no possible way that the claims made in the report could possibly be true.  Mary Jo is a responsible breeder that knows exactly where all of her puppies have gone.  She keeps us all informed of health updates on littermates and parents, and she is accessible to all of her dog owners for any questions (and not just the show owners either). I live right in the neighborhood and my pet puppy and I visit once/month for a nail trim and doggie updates for 4 years running.  I think that contradicts what is claimed in the report about how she can't be reached.   Also she does not run a puppy mill, unless having 3 dogs in your home is now a puppy mill.  No kennel, just a big backyard.  And I have only seen 2 litters of dogs there in 4 1/2 years. 

My previous Dobermans were rescues with a miriad of heath issues probably from irresponsible breeders that didn't care about breeding for health like Mary Jo does, and unethical breeders that didn't try to find good homes for their dogs like Mary Jo does which is why they ended up in a rescue.  Mary Jo wouldn't have sold a dog to a person like you.  Her dogs are too sweet for a home with a horrible person like you living in it.

You have got to be kidding. How can some random fraud be allowed to make these claims? It's obvious by what was written that this person has never purchased a puppy from Mary Jo and clearly has never even met her.

Mary Jo has always made herself available to all of her puppy families whether they are show quality or pet quality. Her Dobermans are wonderful and I stand beside Mary Jo against this ridiculous allegation.

My 4-1/2 year old pet quality Doberman is an outstanding dog with a wonderful personality and I am proud to be a part of the "Fitzmar" pack. 

Our family purchased a FitzMar Doberman, a dog who happens to be Tatum's 'brother' from the same litter. Mary Jo Ansel does extensive health testing to ensure a healthy litter. She is a responsible breeder with a solid reputation among those who show and breed Dobermans. We were sent home with a binder full of our puppy's health history and she has always been a phone call away, ready and willing to answer any questions or concerns. Our Rexx not only has a wonderful temperament but has no inherited health issues. I would purchase another Doberman from FitMar Dobermans without hesitation.

If this were a legitimate complaint it would be settled in court, not via the internet.

 Fitzmar Dobermans, specifically the breeder is an honest and ethical business.  I own a dog purchased from her and I can tell you from personal experience that Mary Jo does everything by the book.  She has the deepest concern that her dogs are placed in good homes and that the clients are given healthy lovingly cared for puppies that are AKC registered.  She continues, long after purchase, to act as a resource and a friend and do everything possible to make sure that owning a Fitzmar doberman is an absolute pleasure.  Her litters are outstanding.  They are beautiful with wonderful personalities.  They do superbly as pets and as show dogs.  My dog is a Grand Champion and achieved this within his first two years!  I stand behind Mary Jo 100 percent.  Everyone in the breeding and showing community as well as local organizations and the rescue that she gives time to knows of her goodness and integrity. 

May I first say that anyone who needs to resort to name calling and profanity in these reports has more problems than the ones they are reporting! That said, I am a consumer of a Fitzmar Doberman from the same litter that this complaint has been written. I am extremely happy with my doberman. I know both the parents, incidentally the Dam is not a registered Champion, something Mary Jo is happy to point out and is noted on her website.  Mary Jo has been a very supportive and considerate breeder.  She does health testing on her dogs, both the producers and the puppies.

Since the writter has described Fitmar Doberman's as a puppy mill, let me assure you they are not.  They have only produced three litters to date, hardly a mass breeder!  Fitzmar Dobermans was recently featured in Doberman Digest as an "up and coming" breeder. Anyone active in the doberman community respects this publication and knows that it would never support breeders that do not comply with AKC breeding standards.

As to the puppy you are refering to, I suggest it does not exist! There were 3 males in this litter and I know where they are homed.

I find it sad that anyone is allowed to make accusations on this website that have not been proven and they are considered truthful.  Shame on you ripoff report for allowing undocumented information to pass as the truth!

First of all, I never sold a puppy to the person who made this report. I have it on good authority that they may be targeting reputable (show breeders) Doberman breeders by making false reports. However, to arbitrate from this website costs $2000, and I'm not spending my hard earned money to arbitrate with a liar.... at least not today. I'm active on Doberman forums helping people with their dog issues, and am a known friend to rescue, but am also a vocal voice against unethical breeders. I suspect the person who made this report is looking for revenge by lying about me and others like me.... 

There were 3 boys in the Tatum x Zeus litter and I know where all of them live and I keep in regular contact with all of them. Everyone has a copy of my puppy contract with my phone number and email address - not to mention which I email everyone that has a puppy from that litter regular updates on health testing results from relatives. As for not being able to find my phone number, I sit on the board for the local Doberman club and my phone number is a public record, and easy to find with google.

In addition, my puppy price has never been $2500 - not even for show prospects, and definitely not for a pet puppy. 

Registration papers were filled out and sent from my home the day that each puppy was picked up by their owner. I guarantee that each puppy from that litter was exactly who I said it was. So unless there is someone out there pretending to be me, then the person making this report is lying in a pathetic attempt to tarnish my reputation - which is excellent. In addition the stud dog owner also has an excellent reputation in the Doberman world, and can testify that those puppies were all who I said they were.

Finally, in my 22 years as a Doberman Pinscher owner/breeder/exhibitor, I've bred a grand total of 3 litters - for a total of 19 puppies. I keep a maximum of 3 Dobermans in my suburban home and don't have a "kennel". I am very careful about who I sell a puppy to and I keep in touch with everyone who has a "Fitzmar" Doberman. All my owners know that they can contact me at any time - I have even responded to emails from owners while I was on vacation overseas.

So to the pathetic liar who filed this report: Good luck getting anyone to believe you. Actions speak louder than words and anyone who has one of my dogs knows that I am not the person you are talking about. Shame on you for using a rip off website in a false manner - I hope the website owner gets you for that!
