This is HACK of a company. They send a work order that is confussing and missing details, you do the work and then the questions start comming in. You answer them then another person asks the same questions again and again and again and again.

Then when you point out that something was cut off their work order, they say that its just a guideline and you need to look at their softwere. Which they have like Five different ones.

Start using their softwere make a mistake then have to fill out orgianal work order and scan and email. They refuse to look at photos untill all questions are answered.

In one day we received over 30 emails from 4 different people dealing with same problem at property.

Then they will beg and beg and beg you to take on work you dont do and need in a rush. They will not take no for an answer!

If you plan on working for this place be ready to spend at lest 2hrs emailing each day.

They know this is a compative market and plenty of people to take on work, so they USE you till you tell them to leave you alone and then dont pay at all.

I have been in this business for over 4yrs and have never seen anything like them. They must make their money by scaming contractors.

We plan on filling in small claims to recoup the $1500 worth of work we performed for them. No problems with the work just refusal to pay do to issues such as not answering all their repetive questions, not wanting to looking at pictures so they understand that they dont need to ask so many questions etc.

If you do plan on working for these hacks make sure you documant everything and never sign their contract.

Luckily we didnt!

Contract?

AUTHOR: Beachbaby10 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 13, 2012

1. Above you stated you did not use their contract what one did you use and how did you suggest an alternate contract?
2. What did they pay for your services can you give me some insight?
3. Did you fill out their online app or did a recruiter call you?

Any help would be greatly appreciated I have a cleaning company Licensed, Bonded and Insured and would like to know how to switch over to this line of work since the residential market is tanking. Thanks so much!

accurate report

Everything stated in this report was accurate.  That is exactly what they do!  They love to start by saying "insert your name here, this is .....from five brothers how are you doing today?, listen I was wondering if you could do me a huge favor" and this is someone I never even spoke with before.  They do not take no for an answer, can get indignant on the phone once you state you can not perform work and start using phrases like refusing work orders.

The statement about the questions rolling in after you submit your results is also correct.  They send very vague work orders that has one set of instructions on the actual order they send you(be sure to read e-mail too as they add other instruction just in the text of the e-mail that will not show up on the official order you print out, then another set of instructions are on the uploading software (zephyr), you say that was not on your order, they say it was part of the guidlines, ok, then you take the initiative and start doing everything on the guidelines, nope, then they refuse to pay because you did not have prior approval, it is a no win situation.  They love to tack on things to an original work order so they dont have to pay additional trip fees or generate a new work order.  (now this does not happen to every order for me, that situation happens about 1 in 5 though).

The main thing if your going to take on work from these guys, is be prepared to answer lots of lots of questions regarding little details, be prepared to have a minimum of 50% of your work reopened at least once, and be prepared to recieve rush work orders on a Friday afternoon.  Best advise would be to not work with them or at a minimum, record every call you have with them (easy with a smart phone) discussing work as you may need to prove you were told to do or not to do something
