I received a call from this company on February 21. When I answered the phone, the woman said "Hi, Paula. I'm trying to get in touch with so and so". As I knew the person, but not how to get in touch with her, I handed the phone to my daughter, who also knew the person in question, as she used to date her father, my ex.

My daughter asked how this woman had gotten my cellphone number, and she didn't answer, but continued to question my daughter, asking her to verify her home phone, address and Social Security number, allof which the woman had! She said it was imperative that she get in touch with the woman in question, and that it would be in her best interest to call immediately. My daughter got the woman's name, Audrey Stanford, the name odf the company, G C Limited Partnership, and a phone number where she could be contacted. The number was different from the one that showed up on my cell.

My daughter called back immediately, only to get a series of "no one is available, please press X number to speak with another agent." A day later, I got a message on my cell from the company that the person in question had to call this number immediately. The woman called me again yesterday to see if I had spoken to the woman in question, and I tolsd her no, nor would I, as she had given neither my nor my daughter a definitive reason for her interest. She asked if my daughter had gotten in touch with the person in question and I told her I'm sure she had, and that if the person in question wanted to talk to her, she would have contacted them.

I then asked her to stop calling me, as I was not the person in question and had already told them that I did not know how to get in touch with her, that I considered this harassment, ahd already spoken too the police, and was going to call the FBI about the harrassment. She told me that if I didn't want to get calls. to tell the woman inquestion to stop using my number as a contact point, not to be angry at her ( the company) and not to call the FBI. She then hung up.

I called my daughter, who called the number she'd been given and the woman actually answered! My daughter procedded to tell her the same thing that I had told her, including the fact that we considered this harassment, and that she, too, would call the FBI, at which point the woman hung up. I don't know if the woman in question owes someone money or what's going on, but I want to be left out of it!
