when we did this loan with western sky loan # 1650**** they assured us that part of our monthly payment would go towards the loan.  we now owe more even though our credit report showed less.  if you have to beg, borrow from someone else or cash in household goods...do not borrow from these rip-offs.  luckily I know people who can take care of this.  yes Washington.  hopefully they will be out business soon and they  will have to re-pay what they owe us.we borrowed $2500.00 from western sky which they sold to gilbert services without our approval. we have paid every month on time. for 16 months $294.00 a month which totals $4582.65. and the payoff was 2768.50. for a total of $ 7351.15. do not borrow from Delbert services they are worse than a loan shark

Western Sky Financial NOT licensed in Nevada

AUTHOR: Concerned - ()

POSTED: Thursday, January 09, 2014

Not sure if you are aware but the state of Nevada's Department of Business & Industry Financial Institutions Division has completed a Global Consent Order against Western Sky Financial. This company is not licensed to do business in the state of Nevada and has been ordered to cease and desist lending to Nevadans. I also believe this order releases Nevadans from repaying any monies to Western Sky. This order went into effect on December 24, 2013

Sub prime lender...

First they DO NOT need your permission to sell the loan. Its considered THEIR asset and not yours. As such they can sell it to whomever they wish that will pay them the amount they request. Second...you had to go with a sub prime lender. This means that you probably couldnt get a reqular loan for a more reputable banking institution. There is no crime there. The only problem is that since you went with a sub prime lender, you have higher then normal interest rates. The main reason is that you must have a VERY low credit score or your credit record reflects a few unpaid debts.

The ONLY way to get out from under this loan is to make sure your paying on the principle and NOT the interest. Try putting an extra $20.00 each week if you can. Then have that targeted towards your preminum. If you do this you WILL see your payments dropping. You can also pay off the whole amount at once. Now I know your debt wont allow this, but that same $20.00 could be put in a savings account and earn iterest. Which would be even more money you can put towards the principle.

Overall this is a situation that YOU put yourself in. YOU had a situation that required $2500.00. The loan company is doing business legally and are not scamming you or ripping you off. It may FEEL like a ripoff to you since you must pay all that interest. But its not. Its just that YOU have a bad credit score and these were the only ones that would help you.
